Man, Martin is awesome when it's full. Volleyball was jamming last night, soccer set an attendance record (despite the loss). Facilities are Sooooooo much improved, it seems there is a good vibe around the athletic dept. Moos had done a hell of a job, IMHO. People actually talk about Pullman in such a much more positive light these days-it's really fantastic.

So many people just don't get Leach, but as quirky as he is, I think he's a perfect fit. He doesn't scream and yell, he's composed and doesn't get rattled. Much anyway.

And some of the young 'uns on this team are scary good.

I'm really proud of those kids, and how Leach just makes them focus on their job, their part of the machine. Team Ball.

I'm unreasonably excited about basketball for some reason. I think Kent is going to prove to be the right man on that front.

Did the students stay for the 2nd half? Seemed a bit empty from camera shots, but someone that was in attendance could confirm.

The student section was around half empty in the fourth quarter based on a TV shot. In time, I hope to see student buy in on the team, but a decade of futility isn't going to be overcome in a couple games.

Its pretty common for casual student fans to take off late in a route. Hell, I was a student during the last 2 of the three straight 10 win seasons and I can tell you that a lot students left at halftime when we were up big. People tend to stick around for competitive games, not blow outs.
