Anyone know why Stephanie Loh went dark on us?

Was wondering the same thing when I saw an article on the Coug's that was from another Times writer. I think she's really good so of course "our" time with her might not last as long as we would want.

Thanks for the link 425. This explains everything.

I am wondering, in a cost cutting effort, if The Times have made a decision to not replace Stephanie, and just use the Theo Lawson, Spokesman-Review feed?

Update on Stephanie Loh and Theo Lawson. It appears Theo will be our primary COUG Beat writer for both Spokesman and Seattle Times, as Stephanie was promoted to assistant editor.

Hi James!

HA! Thanks for the email. Yes I think I’ll miss it too! New job has been a nice change of pace and so far a welcome new challenge. But there’s always going to be a part of me that’ll miss covering the Cougs.

And yes, the plan is to use Theo’s stuff in our paper going forward because – sadly – we did not replace me as the Coug beat writer!

I would imagine it's been over 40 years since The Seattle Times has not had a dedicated beat writer for the COUGS.

Sounds like revenue it tight.
