Arkansas Pine Bluff has a pre-conference body bag schedule that former WSU ADs Dick Young or Jim Sterk would love - they've won their only home game and lost every road game (most body baggers)I didn't get a chance to listen or watch the game, but Cougs won 65-50 pulling away in the second half after trailing at the break to Arkansas Pine Bluff. Looks like a short bench tonight. Does anyone know why Cannon didn't play? Shead still out. CJ with 22, Bonton with 16, and Noah Williams with 8 off the bench. Still not shooting great but playing okay defense, although Pine Bluff is now 1-11 on the season....so not necessarily a great win. But we'll take it, right?
Now comes Pac-12 play. Going to get a lot tougher.
Glad Cougar

WSU margin of victory is same as NM State over them and greater than Oregon State or K-State.
I asked the same question above but haven't been able to get any information. I know Shead was hurt, but don't know if Marvin was too. It was a good chance for extended minutes by Noah Williams and DJ Rodman got some playing time while the game was close. We'll need a healthy Cannon this weekend vs. the LA schools.Where was Marvin Cannon last night?
Thanks Kurt. Do you know the nature and extent of the injury?Cannon was injured
Yes, you are right, that's what happened. Seemed to be in some pain leaving the court and was helped off, if I remember correctly. That said, I didn't get the impression that it was somethin that some time off could not heal, Did not participate in the Pine Bluff game but I would not be surprised to see him in the conference opener.I think they said Cannon rolled an ankle in the previous game. No indication of when he will return.
