I could forgive the initial vandalism--we've all been young and done really stupid sh!t--but the failure to appear in court (twice) is inexcusable and demonstrates a serious lack of character. Adios CH, you've just made your path in life way harder than it needed to be.

Kids do dumb stuff. What you can't do is take bad situations and make them worse. Not showing up to court twice does exactly that. Was he even in town? Has he enrolled in classes? Has he written off this season altogether? The issue isn't gonna go away. He will eventually have to take care of this.
