Couple of articles from San Jose by way of the Spokesman (thanks Vince).

First one - BYU plays Pac-12 schools 18 times in the next 5 years. 10% of Pac-12 OOC games are with BYU. Point of article being BYU's success in general will help/hurt the Pac-12's SOS.

Second one - OOC schedules for all teams for next 5 years, with commentary. WSU's doesn't stack up very well, but somehow we get a "B".

I wonder if the BYU scheduling was an intentional thing by the P12? Or was this something that BYU did and THEN the P12 noticed...

I don't know this with any authority (one of the few things I am not an expert on :p), but I don't think the Pac-12 has much, if anything, to do with teams' non-con scheduling. As the article mentions, BYU is an attractive foe, as they are relatively nearby Pac-12 schools, have a big stadium, and have followers throughout the west. Not that I like them much, I still remember 1990 when the refs gave them the game, but it is too bad that they have fallen so far. They went from being (in their minds) the LDS version of Notre Dame to not even being able to win the MW.

Kind of interesting looking at overall no-cons. The pattern of one Power 5, one Group of 5 (typically MW), and one Div 1-AA is pretty prevalent.
