I was just going to start a thread. Cal has lost 9 in a row, and their best player is out. This can be a dangerous game for a team that is not always confident.

Cal is normally a 43.4% shooting team overall. So far, they are shooting 57.9%. I would be surprised if they can keep it up. If they do, then they earned the victory.

It’s an odd deal for a coach when the guy who is supposed to be your leader and one of your best players isn’t even one of your 7 best players. Team’s got to move on with Noah playing a limited role tool he figures it out.

He’s not a guy who’s ever played within the offense but I’m not sure I’d say that. He’s scored 30+. He has been a guy that can light it up. Sure as hell isn’t right now.

A player does not get the National Player of the Week by accident. He was good his first two years. He hasn't been this year. But, that good player is in there somewhere.

Let a team hang around, you can get bit. They seem to work hard to get a lead, then relax. Cal is not good, but they have played hard all game.

Tough 8 game stretch coming up with 4 road games in a row. Still need to make up 3 postponed games. If we finish 7-4 (maybe even 6-5) we are dancing.

That would be nice. But, that is a tall order. They play current 7th ranked Arizona, 7th ranked UCLA, 19th ranked USC, plus a hot Oregon team that is tied with WSU at 7-3. Going 3-2 would be wonderful.

This is a good, not a great team. No disrespect intended, as they play hard and have some exciting moments, but when the game is on the line, they fold. Not just once or twice, but 10+ games now.

I’m interested to see how we do against the top-4 in our conference.
