I would not think so with such little time to build relationships with the new staff. But, if WSU has a hat on the table, anything is possible.

He's announcing at 5 p.m. tonight and the Cougars have absolutely zero shot. He's a lock for Washington.

The one thing about the early signing period for basketball is that it gives less time for new coaching staff's to build relationships. Still, I am looking forward to see what Kent brings in for the 2015 class.

Well since his #1 recruiter has been there for six years it shouldn't require time. The others have also been recruiting for years.

Are the targets the same though? I kind of think that Kent is recruiting different players than Bone was targeting. I also think that Kent is targeting different players than the Air Force or Bradley were targeting.

So, I agree they know how to recruit, but I hope Kent is aiming for better players than Bone.

Agree with you both but I do think some aren't quite seeing the amount of time the staff will have for next year. You see, "next cycle they will have a year". Well, no they have about 6 months at best. No excuses but other staffs like the UW, Gonzaga, Oregon, etc. have had 2+ years to talk and build a relationship with a lot of these players representing their respective program. They also won't get to see any results if the sign in November.

That's life though. Nobody said there weren't challenges.

Most important thing is to win in November, December, and January, February. 2015 recruiting is nearly done now for many schools. They are way behind.

Curtis Allen is after players and they just need a Head Coach who can close them. Bone and the staff got lots of good players to visit but he closed very few.

There will be (currently) 4 players needed next year. He needs to crack some good one's.

That's assuming he doesn't pick up another this year which he well might. Especially with Canty not coming to WSU and heading for Casper College JC.
