Pell Grants? Some say not affected. We’ll see.especially research in med fields?
Do some research and let us know. Thanks.especially research in med fields?
Oh thought someone who professed to know everything about anything would have a clear cut answer. So good to know you only pretend to know about everything. Biggs as limited as he is pegged you ...Do some research and let us know. Thanks.
This concerns all schools that rely on those research grants. Since the freeze was announced the HHS Secretary has since said that the directive would be in effect through February 1st. We should learn soon if the freeze is extended or goes away.especially research in med fields?
Much as I despise Trump, I'm not that upset with a review of federal grants in general. Having spent most of my career in Higher Ed, and having directly worked on multiple federal grant proposals and the subsequent spending and reporting, I would often shake my head at the millions annually that are handed out to various programs.Just saw this but, a federal judge stopped the freeze.

Who needs scientists anyways when we have Google? Let’s cut off all funding for Avian vaccine funding.Just saw this but, a federal judge stopped the freeze.

Yeah!!! Like we need to take a long hard look at how much $$$ WSU is spending on litter and litter boxes for all the those furry students!I have ZERO issues with a massive review on everything top to bottom of expenses and programs at WSU.
It’s because they splurge on the expensive clumping litter when they should be using that cheap wood pellet stuff.Yeah!!! Like we need to take a long hard look at how much $$$ WSU is spending on litter and litter boxes for all the those furry students!
Just because you're lazy doesn't mean everyone else is. You obviously have time on your hands and internet access. Get to work.Oh thought someone who professed to know everything about anything would have a clear cut answer. So good to know you only pretend to know about everything. Not only that but I hear it’s organic carbon-neutral non-clumping litter to boot. It’s because they splurge on the expensive clumping litter when they should be using that cheap wood pellet stuff.
Gee, that's a bummer. Perhaps you can explain how that is Trump's fault. Maybe using some good algebraic equations can help with that, just make sure you start about January 1, 2022.Who needs scientists anyways when we have Google? Let’s cut off all funding for Avian vaccine funding.
Meanwhile the average price of eggs has reached a new record high under Donald J Trump’s watch.
GOF has legitimate merits. Not the boogeyman you seem to think. But u know...Joe Rogan and allIs WSU a Tier 1 Gain of Function research institution?
Did I say he was at fault? That’s Trump Derangement Syndrome in practice for you - blindly defending Il Duce and a complete inability to look at him critically.Gee, that's a bummer. So what? Biden taught us judges orders are irrelevant and can be ignored by Presidents.Just saw this but, a federal judge stopped the freeze.

“When I win, I will immediately bring prices down, starting on Day One,”
Hyperbolic statement for sure but this proclaims that this is a priority campaign promise despite what his personal fluffer Lady Graham has stated.
So what has your dear leader done or what plans does he have in place to bring financial relief to the masses? If anything his threats of tariffs only threaten harm to the masses. People are really hurting financially.. Other than delivering a shitstorm of chaos what is he doing to help lift up your average hard working Americans? He’s certainly got his billionaire boys club covered.

Eggs don’t produce eggs, chickens do. It’s takes longer than one week for a chicken to hatch. Once hatched it takes 24 weeks or more before eggs are produced. 24 weeks is longer than one week. Hope this helps. If not, I can simplify this post for you. Just let me know.
Thanks Dr. Fauci. Enjoy your next oversight committee hearing.GOF has legitimate merits. Not the boogeyman you seem to think. But u know...Joe Rogan and all

Stick to the subject. Notwithstanding your clear case of FauciDS, do you dispute that GOF has merit? Thanks Dr. Fauci. Enjoy your next oversight committee hearing.
Don’t be sad be happy 🤡The problem with Trump, which has always been his problem, is that he always takes everything too far and he routinely ignores his promises to lower income people.
I do appreciate his inability for hyperbole though. On the recent BS resignation offer that went out, Trump's people are saying that up to 10% of the government's 2.3 million federal employees will take the offer....saving the country up to $100 billion. Now...if you run a little math, 10% of 2.3 million is 230,000 people. If you take $100 billion, that amounts to a savings of $435,000 per employee. The fact sheet implies that it's a per year number...but that's obviously bullsh!t. But then again....that's the MAGA hype machine. Take facts, twist them to your advantage even if they are no longer accurate... throw them out there anyway. Even if that number is real....crippling our government is only going to reduce federal spending by $100 billion, which is 1.5% of our annual budget. #winning has never looked dumber.
The best part is hearing him talk about restarting his stupid wall project. Two Mexicans with a Sawzall and a ladder can circumvent the wall, but lets spend hundreds of billions and destroy habitats for a vanity project. The good news is that wall is definitely going to lower our grocery prices and other costs. Wasting billions of dollars on steel surely can't have an inflationary impact on the cost of steel for other projects. And surely getting rid of all those illegal immigrants working in low income jobs is going to make our food cheaper.
The f#cking morons that buy into his hype machine make me sad. It does however prove that 50% of people are dumber than average and most of them voted for Trump.
I thought you'd be loving this. You get four years of tantrums and lots of opportunities to post nonsense about hypocrisy as if Trump and Republicans are the only president and party to take credit for things. The problem with Trump, which has always been his problem, is that he always takes everything too far and he routinely ignores his promises to lower income people.

Your choice of words creates an incredibly low bar. So, put your Superman underoos on and be a big boy. Sure, gain of function could have merit. It could also wipe out the human race. Fauci doesn't get to decide whether it happens or not. Go ahead and show us the scientific community has reached a consensus that gain of function research should occur.Stick to the subject. Notwithstanding your clear case of FauciDS, do you dispute that GOF has merit?
Lets not forget the labs in Ukraine. Oh and the guilt is real when you have a president passing out preemptive pardons like a Democratic child predator passing out candy from a van on the sidewalk in front of a school. I remember a time when the mouthpieces for the Rats (media) & the Rats themselves screaming from the rooftops that if a president is passing out pardons, you must be guilty of something.... circa 2020. Funny how these tards keep doing the very thing they accuse everyone else of doing.Your choice of words creates an incredibly low bar. So, put your Superman underoos on and be a big boy. Here are some other things that could have merit-bypassing gain of function restrictions and sending funding to China, not bypassing gain of function restrictions and not sending funding to China, building a wall at the southern border, not building a wall at the southern border, lowering federal income tax rates, raising federal income tax rates. Add more to the list if you chose.

BTW, Biden built the best economy in the world. I heard him say so himself lots of times. And that must have happened between the laps he was doing around his much younger staff members. Now, you may ask "Did Biden inherit the best economy in the world?" And yes, he did. So, by his own admission he didn't accomplish anything. And the Bidenomics inflation really hurt working class people, which is a big part of why those voters abandoned the Ds in the 2024 election.
Well, while we’re going down that road Trump certainly inherited the best economy in the world as well. So what? In fact most presidents in recent memory, save for a couple of crises, have inherited the best economy in the world.Did Biden "inherit the best economy in the world"? The answer is arguably yes....but only because the rest of the world was in the same sh!thole economic situation we were in.
What's hilarious about the whole economy argument is that outside of inflation....the economy under Biden was good in 2021, 2022 and 2023. The average growth in GDP over Biden's first three years was 3.4%. The average growth in the first three years under Trump was 2.6%. If Trump was President from 2021 to 2024, the same people complaining about the Biden economy would have been bragging about the GDP growth and continued low unemployment and would have been losing their minds in anger over the audacity of the Fed to defy the dear leader and raise interest rates. They'd be arguing that inflation was a necessary byproduct of the growth...and you'd blame the Democrats for everything that someone needed to take the fall for.
What's going to be funny to watch in the next two years is all the voters who switched to Trump in 2024 realize that they got duped and see a blue wave come in 2026. FWIW, I don't necessarily look forward to seeing liberals thinking that they won something because of their ideals and deluding themselves into thinking that they have a "mandate" because some of their policies are dumber than Trumps. But it's still going to be funny to watch the country grow to hate Trump in the next two years. He's a moron that feeds off emotion and hype and his policies always create more losers than winners.....and it's his base that gets hit the hardest. Good thing for him is that he's already marketing "short term pain....long term gain" to try to explain the negative impacts that people are going to be feeling.
My response was to O11 regarding (what I interpreted as a sarcastic dig at GOF research).Your choice of words creates an incredibly low bar. So, put your Superman underoos on and be a big boy. Your response to me invoked fauci because you have FDS.
I'm pleased to learn you also feel GOF has merit. Nowhere did I claim it also didn't have risks. Now that we've settled that.... taihtsat

Kind of a stupid argument.
"Arguably yes" tells us that your head is far, far, up your backside. Plus, you're basically saying if you ignore the gunshot wound to your chest, you're quite healthy. Average YOY inflation was 5.2 percent under Biden. Nominal wage growth was below that. So, that means real wages decreased, and a lot of Americans felt it as they were sliding backwards during his presidency.Did Biden "inherit the best economy in the world"? The answer is arguably yes....but only because the rest of the world was in the same sh!thole economic situation we were in.

Did you at least put on some underwear?
What was inflation around the world? As if this was just a US problem."Arguably yes" tells us that your head is far, far, up your backside. You must have missed the media and talking head bullshitters talking about the wonderful GDP growth and stupendous unemployment rate Bidenomics had given the country.
And gee whiz, you're predicting a swing at the mid-terms? Oh my! Took a lot of courage to venture out onto that sturdy limb. Get a Powerball ticket today!
Talk about ignoring gunshot wounds...Trump presided over the highest unemployment rate, jobs loss and gdp decline in...oh, I'd say 85 years.
