Someone mentioned that Rod Fisher is running track this spring. Well it looks like the Cougs have a real good sprinter in Emmanuel Wells. He broke the school record in the 60 meters this weekend with a time of 6.55 - currently ranks as the second best time nationally.
Wells is a JC transfer originally from Rainier Beach HS. He could be a threat to break the school 100 meter record this spring (held by the Canadian Olympian Anson Henry at 10.17). Henry held the old 60 meter record at 6.65.
