I knew of the Robert Gates (former Texas A&M President and CIA Director) story, but a good refresher read nonetheless. For the lazy, Gates posted on an Aggie message board incognito for several years while he was President. Then outed himself when he left A&M.

Gates spoke at a WSU graduation and I think his daughter or some relative went here. I have a picture of his "United States of America" plane parked next to the Horizon Coug plane at Pullman International.

If i were in athletics, I would follow the plus of my fans. The information and ideas shared here are valuable information. Business' need to listen to their customers and WSU hasn't done well in that regard over the years.

Let it be known: the discussion to hire Mike Leach started right here on the old cougzone. I personally think Moos' decision to hire Leach was largely based on the feedback on these boards about how we needed to get him.
