Fa'avae Fa'avae

Why now? Why not finish the season? Get coached, lift weights, maybe get some PT somewhere... Why cut ties now? Unless youre genuinely that unhappy, fine.

I don't understand not sticking around through the season. He's an injury away from getting a bunch of reps in games and the practice time is valuable. Plus we are contention for a bowl game, which is also fun if we make it. He's sitting out next year regardless if he stays at the FBS level and quitting on a team midseason won't make him a hotter commodity in the portal.

What's the demand for third string pass rushers with a history of quitting midseason and legal troubles?

Thats Crazy. And He was a good, semi great, semi higher ranked recruit, with higher interest, offers.

And he might probably have developed, into starting, being the #1 back up, in future seasons.

But instead he quits mid season.

If that kind of thing happens often enough, on the DL, LB, then the spot he plays, DL, LB, would end up as bad or worse then the secondary.

And of course Leach would get blamed, even tho Its not Leach's fault if Fa'avae quit, transfer out, etc.

Just like its not Leach's fault about Jalen Thompson, and others either getting injured, getting into trouble, transfering, leaving early, etc, just like Fa'avae, and others.

Fa'avae, and others like him either have devastated WSU secondary, etc, or will devastate an or continue to devastate WSU defense, secondary, CB, Safety, LB, DL corps.

This crap needs to stop happening so damn frequently.

And need to stop blaming Leach for this crap happening.

And THEO LAWSON has been saying, pointing out that this kind of crap has been happening A LOT, and that it isnt Leach's Fault.

Well, Fa'avaes skills are probably best deployed at Rush and he was clearly behind Taylor and Stone. He had a long way to go to work his way ahead of them and neither are graduating before him. It's understandable to see him transfer to another program where he has a better shot at playing time. But why transfer now? Wait til the end of the season.

And Taylor is the same age, and Stone is a year younger. If Silvels makes it back, that's a pretty crowded position. It happens.

Maybe there are some kind of "circumstances" he can claim to make him immediately eligible. Don't know about that, just a guess.
