some Duck posted a comment, “I hope the Cougs know that Gameday is there because of the ducks.” Do they own tv’s, radios or computers in Eugene? Too funny.

Technically, they are correct. If UW had made that field goal, Gameday wouldn't have come to Pullman. Because the Ducks got lucky, ESPN went ahead and came to Pullman. The Oregonian would do well to remember that Gameday didn't come to Pullman in 2001 because the Ducks choked against Stanford and ESPN didn't want to feature a game where one of the teams had lost the week before. If they hadn't choked 17 years ago....our "Bring Gameday to Pullman" thing would have never happened.
