As much as I want to see Eric Morris the OC, fired, replaced with a competent one, you don't fire mid season, and wait until after the season, and there is a argument to be made that Dickert might replace Eric, with a worse OC.

Also next year WSU will have a pretty good O Line, with a good WR corp, with a good Jenkins, RB Corp, with a good defense, etc, to where WSU SHOULD WIN 8,9,10,11 games , next season, assuming either Eric does at least a ok job, or the replacement OC, does a ok job.
If Eric can't get 8,9,10,11, wins out of next season, then for sure he should be fired then, if not fired after this season, and he probably should be fired after this season, but a argument could theoretically be made to give Eric the chance to get 8,9,10,11 wins out of next season, and if he doesn't then fire him either mid season, or after next season.
Clay on the other hand needs to go after the end of this season for sure.
Should have just kept the offensive staff that was left last year. They did a heck of a job...especially under the circumstances.

Why would you put Watson on the field? You can look at Jenkins and see he is the better player. Or, you can’t. Then why do you have an OC job if you can’t recognize the kids talent?
How the f do you go from 184 yrds against SC to half that against OSU? How as a play caller do you not know who your best player is on offense and feed him the ball?
They look like a Wulff team because they have bad coaches leading the offense. Believe what your eyes see.
Was going to say it’s pretty clear Jenkins is your best offensive player.
one thing I’m curious about sometimes with these air raid guys and their egos is when they have a game where the passing output is low (USC) do they feel like they have to ramp it up the next week to get back to their “average”? It can feel so forced sometimes.
Either way I don’t see Dickert as a guy who’s going to have an extended leash. Morris needs to get it together quickly or he will be out.
I think you may be on to something there. I saw the score of the Miss State -Kentucky game...and before I even checked the stats, I thought to myself, I bet Leach went back to passing every down.

A better question is when Jenkins is getting 7 yards a carry for 8 CARRIES, why would you stop feeding him, why would you not give Jenkins at least 10 more carries?
If a coach is not going to continue to feed a RB that is getting 7 yards a carry, for 8 CARRIES, and not give that RB at least 17 carries, instead of only 8 CARRIES, that coach should be fired.

At some point the air raid guys either run the ball to loosen up the defense and keep their jobs OR they don’t and they all get fired and continue their career path of never coaching at a blue blood school and finishing their career at school so far off the map they never dreamed they’d wind up there. Ask Hal Mumme how things ended.
Don’t tell me you take what the defense gives you when you never run the ball when numbers dictate.
Don’t tell me you attack every part of the field while never running the ball between the tackles.
