Sounds about right. I'm actually starting to get nervous. This is turning out to be an important game for our Cougs. Will also be interesting to see how Portland state fares against the donkeys tomorrow.

BTW Uber, I'm happy to see that "other" thread dying. That shit had really gotten old.

Back to the Cougs - Women's soccer starting out lackluster at 3-3-3. Volleyball at 5-3. Neither has beaten anyone of note.

Keys for me are getting pressure. And going high safety over Nash. Would like to see Kyle Williams go for over 100 tonight too. I enjoy watching Mateer create offense, but would like to see some long drives from mainly the pocket. Other than that, just tackle and wrap up. Looking for something like 37-24 tonight.

It was close. Almost looked like his forearm hit and it jostled loose. Butt was close to hitting as well.

Defense’s biggest issue now is finishing plays. They’ve been getting in front of the ball carrier and they’ve been in position after the catch. Problem is they’re biting hard on the first move and they end up grabbing for air. Too many yards after the catch and after contact. If SJSU wants to run the 2 yard out, let them - but don’t let them turn it into 12.

Offense needs to find a way to slow down the rush. Mateer is mostly handling it OK, but he has plays where he’s not seeing the field because of the pressure. Shorten up the routes, run more crossing patterns and mesh under. Use the TE. Once they step back, run.
