I was watching The Hill a sappy baseball movie about Rickey Hill who overcame spinal problems to play single-A ball for the Expos. Reading up on that, I found out he played for the Grays Harbor Loggers. I didn’t know they had a team—only ‘76 to ‘80. My family has pretty deep roots in Aberdeen.
Come to learn that Bill Murray did a stunt with them in ‘78 where he pinch hit. Seems SNL did a bit about his time there.
