Didn't want to waste a thread on this Colorado Alama Bowl story.
According to Jason Whitlock (some random sports columnist), the team had run out of NIL (Name, Image, and Likeness) funds, forcing them to operate on a tight budget.
Ok, first of all, what do player NIL payments have to do with Colorado's team expenditures (swag, whatever) at a bowl game? WTF is he talking about? 2nd, how could Colorado have "run out of money" when the bowl pays - what - $8M?
I know, who cares? Just saw it first thing and decided to share.

I’m a little surprised Deon hasn’t resigned now that his boys are done. Maybe he’s waiting to see where they get drafted and pitch his resume then?

I have no idea why/how so many dweebs took your good wishes down a rabbit hole, but as someone who has been on the site a long time (like you), let me wish you a great 2025.
