How long before the riots start?

We should start calling you dipshit. When the agents come for the farm workers, your plan of changing the system is too late. True to form, you arent very smart. Fck off 95.
Again, true to form. Anything that doesn’t square with your narrow thinking is stupid and leads to name calling. You can’t grasp anything beyond that narrow view and can’t follow any idea that isn’t linear with anything beyond yes/no answers.

Really reveals why you and Yaki couldn’t stand each other - you’re basically the same person. Know it all blowhards always hate each other, because they can’t tolerate competition.

Rant away. Everybody already knows your opinion…but nobody really cares.

I have a hard time believing that Tyson and Conagra are hiring illegal workers. How do they get them on the payroll without proper legal documents (like a SS card)? Pay cash? How do you deduct that?

Ans prison buses rolling up to farms - hell I saw that first hand as far back as the 80's. One time near Walla Walla, I was just driving by an orchard. The white vans pulled up, and I could see the workers running away from the highway.

That said, and politics aside, I am curious to see who and how is hiring illegals. Household help paid in cash, sure. Random yard workers and small construction projects that aren't tax deductible, sure. But I don't see how legitimate, tax filing and paying companies can get away with it. Speaking as an accountant who used to do W-2's for orchards where half of the W-2's had names with no SS numbers. The orchardists just paid the nominal fine for filing incomplete tax forms. But that was decades ago. Can't imagine that happening today. Maybe it does, but I would like to see and know more.......
Watch outside the gate at quitting time, and you’ll believe it.

I think I’ve already addressed the harvesting. Changing the system doesn’t eliminate the workers, it just changes how they’re getting here. So I don’t have to pick anything. Of course, true to form you just want to reach your own conclusions and not pay attention to what anyone actually says while you argue about the minutiae and distract from the point. We should start calling you “congressman.”
This is a good case study of why trying to have dialogue with Biggs is kinda a waste of time. He seems incapable of nuance or intelligent discourse. Taihtsat

Again, true to form. Anything that is dumb, like you having to be asked 3 times if you will be picking apples, cherries or both, leads to me calling it as I see it. You’re a fcking dipshit.

Blowhard? Who is calling names now? What a fcking twink you are. Can’t handle it. Keep posting more stupid shit. I will keep calling you a dipshit. Everyone cares what I write. They can’t stay away!

Now this is some high quality detailed analysis right here!

Once again, for the people who have trouble with reading comprehension:

What gate? A little context and/or legitimate information would be appreciated. I'm genuinely curious as to who and how companies can still pay illegal workers en masse.

And let us not forget the burning down of police stations, the attacks and attempted destruction of a federal courthouse, destruction of scores of businesses, billions of dollars in damage, and the deaths of over 30 people.

Oh wait, that didn't count because the leftists have the right to blow off steam from a supposed racial act by police... or something like that.
This is the kind of stupid f#cking response that I was referring to in my last post.

I’ve never said that the left could burn things down without repercussions. You’ve just got your head so far up your dear leaders ass to see my posts saying that all criminals out there breaking into buildings and burning stuff down should be punished.

A lot of the processing plants have limited access, both vehicular and pedestrian. Everyone comes in through common points, they funnel in and out at each shift.

As far their exact hiring methods and how they pay, I’m afraid I can’t shed a lot of light on exactly what a given place is doing, but the obvious under the table method is cash. Harder to do on a large scale but not impossible. A lot easier if you provide worker housing. Another example is contract labor - hiring a staffing company to bring you employees.

You’re in Yakima, look around. I guarantee it’s happening there. Washington beef, yakima chief, and Snokist are probably some good candidates.

Here's an interesting article, which sez just over 1/2 of illegals are employed in agriculture. Still don't see how they are able to get paid, although I guess if you are a struggling dairy you probably aren't paying much in income tax anyway, so if you lose your tax deduction by paying in cash so what. And if they are way cheaper, then you save the lost tax savings in wage costs and skip the SS and other taxes to boot. Ahhh, the old accountant mind spins into gear on a Sunday morning. :)

You also dodge payroll taxes, and don’t have to pay the L&I fees and other expenses associated with employees. So you’re saving more than just wages. Not sure how the mechanics of it all work, but there are definite financial benefits to the employer. And the sanction for getting caught is comparatively minor.
Part of fixing the system is that the risk/cost to the employer needs to be increased.
Currently, it looks like the maximum fine for a “pattern or practice” of hiring undocumented workers is $3K per worker and 6 months in jail. The actual fines are usually less, and I doubt anyone goes to jail except in the most egregious cases….which probably also involve injury or death. A max $3K fine is peanuts - they probably save more than that per worker every season just by dodging taxes. The fine needs to be enough that it’s actually a punishment - not just cutting into money saved, but cutting into revenues and profits. Make the first offense fines $3-5K per employee, and escalate them for each offense. That’ll starts to change the math and remove the financial incentive for employers to hire illegals.
At the same time though, the process to come legally for this kind of work needs to be easier to ensure that there’s still a pool of available labor.
The current system is broken, because it leaves incentives for both the employer and the employees to not follow the rules. $3K per employee was probably a significant fine when the rules were written, but it isn’t anymore. Fix it so the sanction and the probability of getting caught are not worth the risk.

risk.
I just said that. Get some coffee, splash in a little Bailey's, and wake up please. :)

This is an interesting experiment in Biggs’ breaking point. He obviously hasn’t put you on ignore yet 95…At what point does he go full FUPA and can’t handle you not agreeing with him. I’m here for it, let’s see how this plays out!

Good luck to you 95 it’s truly a badge of honor when this fat twat finally hits the eject button.

Yeah, but I really couldn’t possibly care less

What I posted is typical of the lying "progressive" left's thinking.

They ignore the summer of riots, death, and destruction (which they encouraged) while railing against a so-called insurrection for which no one (to my knowledge) was charged for insurrection. By the way, the left were 100% for the "insurrection" as it was a way to gain political leverage.

PS Your Tee Dee Es is showing. This has nothing to do with Trump as far as I'm concerned.
