Huge game vs Zona on Thursday

AJ and Bamba have been a bit banged up so hopefully they are healing up. Hope to see a lot of pressure and a super aggressive D with the improved depth since this one is going to take a superior effort. Keep it below 70 and I like our chances.

Need the students, Whitman County and anyone else who can get to Pullman at 6 pm on a weeknight to show up. Weather looks pretty good for February as far as driving down/to Pullman.

I would say Arizona, UCLA, USC, would be very high quality wins, if WSU wins

Oregon is a high quality win, if WSU wins.

UW is a semi quality to almost quality to almost semi higher quality win.

So more then 4 chances to get a quality win.

But still, fans need to show up for the Arizona game, and USC, UCLA, Oregon, UW games, if they can.

WSU fans need to show up for all the remaining home games if can, as a bad fan turnout, MIGHT help contribute to even a loss to Ore St, as ASU, beat UCLA, in triple overtime

If the students won't show up for the Arizona game, they aren't interested in high quality college athletics. It would make a huge difference, IMO.

Meanwhile UVa beat Duke at Cameron Indoor. Last second 3 ball. I guess they'll be moving up in the NET and other rankings.

I am working develop the best mindset for this game so I don't go crazy watching it. Zona is really good. We all know that. Beating them is not likely this year, but I just want to see us continue to grow as a team. Our bigs have a great opportunity to go against some very tough players (and future NBA high picks). That will help their game in the future.

If we play "good" basketball, then we can come within single digits of Zona. Otherwise, if we have turnover issues and take poor shots and don't rebound well...it will be a long night.

This game is a good gage of how much further we have to go as a team. That is how I want to look at it.

While this may be a good attitude I admit to being more optimistic than this. Arkansas knocked off Auburn at home last night and Ariz St beat UCLA at home on Saturday. No reason this can't be the Coug's break thru game.
