ICE, Greenland, etc. - this is getting so bad

Meanwhile, you wish to continually attack Trump for each and every action he takes while completely excusing like and even worse actions by others. Why do you guys always excuse bad actions by everyone else?
Nonsense. FWIW I’ve been very critical of Biden and think he made plenty of mistakes. Everyone else here who knows Trump is an unfit POS has as well.

You can’t even handle someone pointing out Trump sexually assaulted a woman (fact) or that he bragged about sexually assaulting women (fact) without defending him with silly semantics and talking about Biden sniffing someone’s hair.

It’s pretty clear which side is hitting 10s with the metal gymnastics routines.

Yes how dare anyone protest the murder of George Floyd and Breanna Taylor.

And who says us "guys" excuse any bad actions by anyone? Go ahead and start a George Floyd thread and we all can opine. We aren't talking about George Floyd in this thread. While you are at it, start a Hitler thread and then justify his actions by saying that Stalin and Mussolini were just as bad.
Peaceful protests are allowed, riots and violence are not allowed. George Floyd=violence and riots on a major scale.

Throwing those three dictators in here is just being stupid and you know it. Besides, you forgot Mao.

So we are all clear now? In your opinion, Jan 6. was a peaceful protest and the George Floyd riots were violent. Even though the Floyd, etc. race riots were 93% peaceful according to reports. Quit while you are behind. You are starting to catch up to the 2 idiot trolls. Although you have a ways to go. :)

Hey, did you see this?

You guys have been flapping about Fox News this and Fox News that so much I just checked it out.

Been a lot of high blood 🩸 pressure around here about the father stripped off the streets and sent to El Salvador.

Fascinating.

In 2020, ~21 million people joined ~7,750 George Floyd protests in the U.S. About 93% (~7,162) were peaceful; ~7% (~539) involved violence, causing ~$2.8 billion in damages. Roughly 84,000 people (~150 per event) drove the violence, leading to ~25 deaths, ~5,000 injuries, and ~1,500 hospitalizations. Data gaps make exact counts tough, but these numbers capture the scale.

So you're saying that it took 7,750 George Floyd protests to cost about as much as Jan. 6th? I'd agree, Jan. 6th was a pretty devastating event!

If I buy a pair of swoosh shoes 👟 from FJF for $10 and pay a $10 tariff, am I better off than buying the same swoosh shoe from Nike for $140?

What if it’s three stipe shoes from Pou Chen?

I’m sorry, who was it that died on J-6? I forgot.
I’m pro- police. Especially the ones on J-6 bitching on video they were set up by command. Remember those?

I found it terrible that security requests were ignored by Nancy Pelosi and some of those officers were sacrificed for her daughter’s cinematic career.

Don't put words in my mouth that I did not say. I simply said that peaceful protests were allowed, YOU twisted that into me saying that Jan 6 was a peaceful protest. You can't get away with that, buddy.

So good for the 93% of the GF protests that were peaceful. Good also for the likely 90% of Jan 6 protestors that were peaceful. Shame on the 7% of GF protests that caused $2.8 BILLION in damages, and shame on the 10% of Jan 6ers that caused less than $4 MILLION in damages.

Unfortunately, the vast majority of the Floyd protestors that committed the violence were never prosecuted, while many protestors on Jan 6 that actually were peaceful did get prosecuted. Unequal treatment under the law is not a good thing.

If I buy my wife a luxury handbag from China for ten bucks and pay a 10 buck tariff, am I worse off than buying it for $400 from Nordstrom?

  • Ashli Babbitt, 35, an Air Force veteran, shot by a Capitol Police officer while attempting to breach a barricaded door inside the Capitol.
  • Rosanne Boyland, 34, died during the riot. Official reports cite a drug overdose (amphetamine-related), though some accounts claim she was trampled or affected by crowd-control measures like pepper balls.
  • Kevin Greeson, 55, suffered a heart attack during the events outside the Capitol.
  • Benjamin Philips, 50, died of a stroke amid the unrest.
  • Also 3 officers died on Jan. 7th, Jan 9th, and Jan. 15th, widely attributed to the mental and physical trauma they suffered while working the attacks on Jan. 6th.

So you think that Jan 6 caused $2,800,000,000 in damage? Math and reality isn't your strong suit, is it?
Dude, if you don't like it, take it up with the GAO. But this is the most professional and comprehensive report that details all of the costs that were incurred as a result of the Jan. 6 riot. It was $2.7 billion. "Reality is that which, when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away."

How terrible! Should he be impeached for that or executed by firing squad?
Castrated for molesting couches.

If Biden pulled what Trump did on January 6th you’d be calling for Biden’s head.

To point out a key difference between you and I is that I’d be calling for Biden’s head too.

It’s shameful and obscene that you and so many others living in this country hate America and democracy.

J, Brett Blanton, Architect of the Capital said in court documents there was $1.5 million in damage to the Capital grounds. Court documents were later amended up to $2.7 Million

Basic math says that $2.7 million is *not* $2.8 billion. Something, something, reality, something…

539/$2,800,000,000=$5,194,805.19

$5,194,805.19 > $2,700,000

On average, each of the Floyd protests in which violence broke out, physical damage was nearly double, at each location than at the Capital on J-6.

The only person confirmed to have died as a direct result of the January 6, 2021, Capitol attack on that day was Ashli Babbitt, a 35-year-old Air Force veteran. She was fatally shot by a Capitol Police officer while attempting to climb through a broken window near the House chamber. The medical examiner ruled her death a homicide.

Three other deaths occurred on January 6 among the rioters, but they were not directly caused by the violence:
- Kevin Greeson, 55, died of a heart attack (natural causes, hypertensive atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease).
- Benjamin Philips, 50, died of a stroke (natural causes, hypertensive atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease).
- Rosanne Boyland, 34, died of an accidental amphetamine overdose, though some reports suggest she may have been caught in a crowd surge.

No police officers died on January 6 itself. Brian Sicknick, a Capitol Police officer, died the following day, January 7, from two strokes. The medical examiner ruled his death as natural causes, stating that while the events of January 6 may have contributed to his condition, they were not a direct cause. Claims tying his death directly to specific injuries (e.g., being struck with a fire extinguisher) were debunked by later investigations.

Answer: One. An unarmed Ashli Babbit, shot thru the glass.

To your other question - I suffered through a couple of minutes of your video then had to go throw up.

If Greenland is so at risk, fine. Station a carrier and a couple of subs off their coast. There is absolutely no f-ing reason for the USA to threaten military force to take over another country. Who's next? Canada? How about Australia? They are strategically located.

I have this vision of Trump, Putin and Xi sitting in front of a world map drawing lines of who gets what countries.

And PS on someone else's post - I refuse to engage trolls. That said, since no one wants to talk Cougs I have no choice but to address other topics. And my face is not wrinkly. I look like a 30-year-old. As opposed to some who act like 3-year-olds.

I'd like to see Gibby or some other Spokanite to comment on the Spokane scrimmage and whether it was well attended, etc.
You have a choice. You’ve always had a choice. You just don’t like the outcome when you’re challenged so you choose Lemu Emu, stick your head in the sand then cry 😭

She deserved what she got. In fact, officers would have been justified in opening fire on their attackers.

Find somebody who can read my previous post for you.
I can read just fine. Just like innocent women are to stretch, cops are collateral damage to you for any action your deal leader takes. If his actions lead to cops getting hurt or dying…eh 🤷. For stretch, and probably you as well, if a girl or woman happens to be in dear leaders path when he is lusting, it’s their duty to please him.

If you’re familiar at all with insurance and litigation in our country you’d know that $2.7M is a laughable number when multiple people lost their lives and dozens were injured and/or suffered massive trauma. I’m not even gonna dig into the specifics but I can promise you the cost and payouts to individuals and families is probably 10X.

I’m not sure about $2.7B, but $2.7M is just silly. Try again.

You’re free to outrage however you’d like about whatever you like but, you don’t get to create alternate facts. Well, you CAN, it just makes you seem reactionary. You’re smarter than that.

Do better.

What’s your deal with outrage? If you want to be ignorant and spray your ignorance everywhere mixed in with conspiracy theories that’s your prerogative. If you want to delude yourself into believing something isn’t what it is it’s pretty easy to call out. As CG pointed out, multiple people died and many more were hurt. You don’t care because you think the act was justified so you just make excuses. We all can see that.

I’m most outraged that you still don’t know how to use the quote button.

Do not forget to include those that attacked the Federal Courthouse in Portland, the Seattle police station, as well as police stations, police officers, and other public buildings in multiple cities across the country. There was a ton more violence in the summer of 2020 than there was on Jan 6.

That makes January 6th okay....right?

But, it simply isn’t true that multiple people died J-6.

I posted proof.

Only unarmed Ashli Babbit was killed on J-6
