Disappointing when a kid leaves the program but it usually about playing time. My uneducated guess is Crane wants to do more than kick-off to give himself a shot at the NFL.

Makes a lot of sense. He's likely done with his degree and can pursue his master's elsewhere and maybe even get a shot at kicking field goals. Mazza has a stranglehold on the job.
