For all of the basketball experts who are on top of basketball recruiting. The cougs offered this 6'9 180 pd player three days ago. he looks to be what Mikalas tried to make Kemp into. This may mean the slam dunk recruitment of Kemp did not work out. However you should not hold your collective breath as Kansas State and Nevada have also offered

With one spot to fill, I'm not sure Smith wants to use it to bring in Kemp. Wor has better length for a stretch 4 than Kemp and brings good athleticism too.

Everyone at this stage in the game is spaghetti against the wall, but I like his chances to develop on both ends of the floor given the tutelage of Smith. Luk's recruiting has blown up recently. He's gotten 6 offers in the past 24 hours. DePaul and Nevada are our most stiff competition.

He has a frame that will definitely fill out.

Speaking of spaghetti, at 6’9” 180 he could use 5 plates a day.

I’m not certain Kemp is the answer, but I would prefer him joining the squad as opposed to Ali.
I have nothing against him, but a Sr. PG who wanted out does not elevate any excitement.

Wur announced he was fully qualified yesterday hence the late interest. He was headed to East Florida (Ali's JC). It looks like K-State has 1 to give but is waiting on Nick Blake (down to K-State & UNLV).

You are so full of it. He just qualified 24 hours ago.

Odd comparing a guard (Kemp) to a Forward (Wur) is just wrong. Looks like two different positions to this old Coug.

Wur has had recent offers from Iowa,Oregon and Rutgers. As for my comments on basketball experts it was aimed at the yokels here who presumed to know all about coug basketball recruiting. The chances of the cougs landing Wur appear to be almost nil But perhaps dufus can pull a rabbit out of the hat or maybe a Mike Leach bobblehead to keep on his nightstand.

Creighton or Oregon would be my guess although he was impressed with A&M calling. His host father apparently coached Altman at some point so pretty big connection there.

Wur released his top five and we aren't in it. Surprise looks like he wants a trip to Hawaii !!!!

Wur specifically said in his interview he wanted to visit Hawaii because...it's Hawaii or something to that effect. Smart kid.

It really does look like Creighton, Oregon, or A&M. He also said in the local interview that of the 100 or so calls he received after becoming qualified that A&M was the biggest surprise. I tend to think he stays home and goes to Creighton.

Established program and coach with great facilities. If this kid can gain weibght and strength he can be very good

There was an established connection if he decided to not stay home at Creighton. Dana Altman coached Wur's host father.
