I know that Martin Stadium is getting a corportate sponsor. But, renaming the team itself is going too far in my opinion.

Under the new five-year deal, Detroit-based Rocket Mortgage will be the presenting sponsor of the famed men's basketball team which will now be known throughout the Breslin Center as, "MSU Spartans Presented by Rocket Mortgage."

Whats crazy, is I heard that somebody in Portland, either a govt or city, or corporate employee, or a political figure, or a small business owner, or a semi famous, or semi celebrity, etc, made a comment against Antifa, and got FIRED, lost business, lost an account etc.

That person called them a TERRORIST group, and mentioned their TERRORIST ATTACK on the ICE building with MOLOTOV cocktails, knives, staffs, bats, chains, guns, weapons, etc.

Effin CRAZY gettin fired, etc, for calling a spade a spade, etc.

Mostly I thought it was funny. Should’ve busted out the laugh icon I guess. But I am on record for not being too pleased with where college sports is headed. It sure wouldn’t surprise me if we ended up there. It could end up looking like a scene out of Idiocracy and I don’t think I’d be surprised.

Mostly I thought it was funny. Should’ve busted out the laugh icon I guess. But I am on record for not being too pleased with where college sports is headed. It sure wouldn’t surprise me if we ended up there. It could end up looking like a scene out of Idiocracy and I don’t think I’d be surprised.

I don’t exactly like all of the branding, especially on uniforms but the influx of Capitol I hope would lead to players benefiting.

We need to have a good showing in the tournament. We want our damn respect. A good showing will increase the chances of every Pac-12 team making the tournament next year..
