Somehow a guy that does a podcast from his bedroom does not get me too excited. Especially when reputable media (the article I copied in the other thread) quotes the Big-12 as giving the Pac-2 a heard no.
Thinking that's a hotel room pre-maid service, but maybe move the shot background away from the bed regardless?
This guy has been wrong about WSU and OSU at every single turn. He is absolutely clueless and is slightly less accurate than a turtle picking a piece of lettuce between two bowls.
I think a sizable percent of the Locked On Big 12 podcast subscribers are Cougs / Beavs. He spotlights us 1-2 times per week to keep us listening.
You do not get how big the LOCKED ON NETWORK is or how it works.
The LOCKED ON NETWORK is comprised of: LOCKED ON COLLEGE FOOTBALL, LOCKED ON INSERT CONFERENCE NAMES, LOCKED ON INSERT COLLEGE PROGRAM TEAM NAME, like LOCKED ON TEXAS TECH, for example.
Each of the LOCKED ON You Tube videos, etc, including LOCKED ON COLLEGE FOOTBALL, LOCKED ON BIG 12, LOCKED ON PAC 12, LOCKED ON TEXAS TECH, ETC, hire semi credible, semi professional, semi columns, semi reporters, etc.
Each LOCKED ON show gets, sources, uses, etc, a combination of facts, insiders, experts, pundits, logic, reason, extrapolation, etc, from episode to episode. 1 Episode, 1 of the LOCKED ON's might have somebody like the AD of X College, who the Brother in law to Sister of one of the applicable leaders of one of the conferences, programs, PAC 2, MWC, ACC, Big 12, that either is a insider, expert, or has access to, is in the know, because of unnamed sources, insiders, insider knowledge, etc. Another LOCKED ON's Main guy might make a extremely logical, reasonable EXTRAPOLATION.
LOCKED ON is not 100% absolute GOSPEL, etc, but they are often more credible, accurate, etc, then you, others give them credit for.
And the LOCKED ON's from the LOCKED ON NETWORK certainly isn't just some Joe smoe doing a crap You Tube video in their bedroom.
Also the majority, most to almost all the various LOCKED ON's of the LOCKED ON NETWORK has, gets LOTS OF LIKES, FOLLOWERS, SUBSCRIPTIONS, AWARDS, ETC.
Tens of thousands of likes, followers, subscriptions, etc.
So you really dont know what you are talking about in your silly comment about LOCKED ON BIG 12, DRAKE TOLL, ETC.
The LOCKED ON NETWORK, VARIOUS LOCKED ON SHOWS, is, can be semi worth semi using as a semi way to help semi stay informed of semi likelyhoods that semi likely can, semi often does happen, and at same time semi taking with a semi grain of salt, because like any similar shows, etc, they can be semi wrong from time to time, a couple, few, sometimes.
Flat, Loyal, 95, others, etc, might think they are always wrong, but that's just because they happened to watch the 1,2,3 episode(s), where LOCKED ON was wrong, and didn't watch the 4,5,6,7, etc episodes where LOCKED ON was right, or only watched, listened to the part that was wrong, and didn't watch, listen to the parts that ended up right.
Locked On will occasionally be wrong, just like how even the best stock brokers, or best game predictors, prognosticators, etc, will occasionally be wrong, even when everything seems to point to them being likely right.
Locked On isn't wrong a lot, and isn't like MHver3, Greg Swaime. Locked On does not just throw stuff up to see what sticks, etc, like MHver3, etc, does.
Locked On spends a lot of time, research, money, etc, on logic, reason, facts, extrapolation, sources, insiders, pundits, experts, etc, making their likely true projections, extrapolations, saying likely at least partially true things, etc.
So they occasionally get a couple, few, semi some things wrong, etc. Newsflash, New York Times, Washington Post, USA Today, ABC, NBC, CBS, ESPN, FOX, CNN, etc, also have that happen to them too sometimes.
Even the Best Prognosticators, etc, are like 20-7(20 right, 7 wrong)
That's why should take almost everything with a grain of salt, etc.

I listen to Drake and I like what he has to say since he does back WSU and OSU getting into the Big 12. However, I have learned to take what he says with a grain of salt because he is often wrong. The thing to remember is these are guys doing podcasts out of their homes and while they may have sources of information, those sources are often not associated with teams or conferences and are wrong themselves. Rule of thumb - go ahead and listen but don’t take these podcasts seriously.
And he's not lying to anyone. Just speculating.
BTW, he got our attendance wrong on the Tech game. Said it was...."packed", or something like that.
I've never seen the word "semi", or any other word for that matter, used 10 times in one sentence. Impressive display of the English language. Makes me want to listen to Phantom 309.

I agree and I really do think he is in our corner.
I like it to. I'm not dissing the guy himself, just saying that he is no more reputable than any other guy with a computer and internet and a microphone (the mike thing is kind of cheesy actually. I can talk into my laptop).
If I wanted to get technological and start my own podcast would that make me reputable and in the know? No.
I explained the Locked On Network, and what it is, and how it works, but you ignored it, and either didn't enter , or went thru your ears without registering.
Drake Toll is NOT some Joe Smoe with computer, internet, doing a You Tube video out of his home, etc. He WORKS for the LOCKED ON NETWORK, an or is PART OF THE LOCKED ON NETWORK.
THE LOCKED ON NETWORK, IS NOT JOE SMOE'S DOING VIDEOS OUT OF THEIR HOMES.
And the LOCKED ON Network does have experts, insiders, pundits, in the know sources, etc, like a AD of X College that Brother in law to, of Sister in law to, of brother of a leader(PAC, MWC, Big 12, ACC, etc), (These type of sources).

That was some dude doing a video from his bedroom. But yes he is just as informed and reputable as the NY Times and LA Times.
FWIW, I haven't watched any of his podcasts in six months. Once I realized that he's just a Big XII guy who likes WSU but doesn't actually have any inside knowledge, I haven't paid much attention.
Thanks Mik. Guess my eyes deceived me. Sure looked like a dude, in his bedroom (thus the bed in the background), doing a video. I'll keep a close watch on ESPN so that I can see his reporting confirmed. Holding my breath but turning purple as I wait.
