First known offer in quite some time. Cayden Baker has a good mix of P5 and G5 offers. Love his frame: 6'6 260, similar to Liam Ryan and Josh Watson when they were in high school.

Taller than Watson, but here's hoping he works as hard as Watson has.
As per Mason Miller, the beauty of the Coug recruiting philosophy under Leach is they don't "hope" for work ethic, they target it. It's at the forefront of their requirements for an offer. It's at the root of the problem for other teams with stars in their eyes.

A highest ended 2 star with high upside potential, to 3 stars that WORK HARD can be better then 4,5 stars that do NOT work hard.

But a 1 star, normal 2 star, even with a good WORK HARD ethic, wont be as good as even a 4,5 star that doesnt work hard.

In the movie Rudy, Rudy was the hardest worker ever, but despite that, he still wasnt as good.

Its not enough to just target a HARD WORKER.

There has to be a minimum level of talent, plus the HARD WORK ethic.

Without either that minimum talent level and the HARD WORK ethic, you wont be successful.

Got to have both.

And the minimum talent level that have to have is highest ended 2 star, to low end 3 star, with high potential upside

You gonna take that nugget to Leach? I'm sure that he's going to be amazed that he hadn't thought of it before.

What about a 3.72 star that works moderately hard half the time? Or a 2.634 star that is hitting hard work 87% of the time, is that better then a 4.3 star who works hard 41% of the time?

One would think that FLAT would get that my comment was in response to this Bogusto's comment about Bogusto seeming to say that all you had to do was Target Hard Work, and doesnt mention a minimum level of talent being required.

Also note that FLAT takes me to task for saying that HARD WORK AND a minimum level of talent is required, but doesnt take Bogusto to task for nearly saying almost the same thing that Hard Work required, but didnt mention that minimum level of talent also required.

You might want to add a sarcasm font or something......because it's hard to tell what you are saying.....let alone if it's in jest.

Coach Jim Walden was fond of saying hard work overcomes a lot of shortcomings.

Totally agree—Izzy was just a regular guy, but he could sing like nobody’s business AND he worked hard and followed his dreams and became the lead sing of Steel Dragon
