I've said before that the Mountain West, or soon to be, PacWest conference is well positioned to establish itself as the top G5 in the Nation. Boise State, SDSU, Fresno, Air Force, WSU, and Oregon State will provide the new conference with a solid top-6. Many kids are still going to factor in playing time when deciding on transfer destinations, and if you're a West coast kid not getting love from USC, UW, or Oregon, you're going to look at the PacWest.

This year was an anomaly for the P12, which was particularly strong, but in most seasons, the 6 programs listed above would comfortably compete, if not beat Cal, Stanford, Colorado, UCLA, ASU, and Arizona in football.

Boise St, isn't the only MWC, G5, etc, college that will be able to do this, and do this, as WSU will be able to do this, do this, have this happen, and already had a 5, FIVE STAR QB, in Jarret Guarantano(Even tho he didn't pan out), come to WSU.

And even tho that was in past, while WSU was in PAC 12, and not now, while WSU left behind in left behind, G5, limbo status, that can still happen to WSU again, because of it can happen to BSU, it can happen to WSU, and because 5 star QB's are not going to rot behind a starter at a Bama types, and so will transfer to a WSU in order to try to be almost a guaranteed starter, have success as such for 1,2 years, and then transfer again to a Bama type for a BIG NIL DEAL.

Even if this kid only plays a year and leaves, that’s still worth it for Boise because it means he balled out for them. How many years do elite QBs stay with any program anymore? 2 maybe? Cam, Minshew, Penix, Nix.
