I believe that they didn’t want to risk a hand off and didn’t want to risk JDL. Cooper is safe option there.

The fact is there was more support for the worst coach in conference history, than the most disliked coach in Cougar history. Wulff was a disaster from day one, but fans wanted him to succeed. With Rolo, you constantly have in the back of your mind that losing is a necessary evil to get the jack ass kicked out of town. Not good!

Cal doing the same thing that generally drives me crazy when the opponent can be stopped. If they take FGs on those last two possessions they are down 9 with a young QB for the Cougs. It’s not like we’re on our way to 50+ points. Take what you can get!
