No reason to snap that ball with 15 on the play clock. That type of Air Raid "logic" pisses me off. You can run the Air Raid and be strategically disciplined.

I think so too. He's a sophomore. We haven't had many (if any) smoother Sophomore QBs.

I know there’s only 30 seconds, but I want to see us look to score. JDL is on the edge, give him a push.

Defense needs a stop on the first drive. And the offense needs to stay awake.
If we put them down 28-6, I think they come unraveled.
Getting them down big means they have to pass, which is fine as long as we're getting home on the rush. Which we have been, at least enough to be somewhat effective.
If we go up 3 tds and can't get pressure, there's a good chance that they score enough to make it interesting due to our soft secondary coverage.
They're going to score some points. We need to force a turnover and score 17 more points.

Didn't see the skirmish on the sidelines. Anyone else see a QB get his facemask done up like that by his own team. I hope our defense is doing some chirping..,
Btw, every WR in the country could take a lesson from Renard Bell. Holy shit, that guy has huge cajones the way he was fighting for yards. While being one of the smallest guys on the field.
Time to fight and a time to go down imo. Fumbles and injuries also happen often in those situations.
Absolutely love his grit, but with his injury history, I'd rather see him go out of bounds sometimes.
I don’t want to focus on JDL too much, but this is emblematic of his problem. He’s not a leader. He’s out there for himself, and he thinks it’s OK to shove his receiver and get in their face. Nobody wants to play with a guy like that. Even if he’s got talent, you’re not going to give 110% to a guy you know will throw you under the bus.
His knee was down before he threw it. Why are we not reviewing that?
Not true. Went to St Louis High - high profile school with people like Timmy Chang and Jason Gesser as alums. Better coaches than most every school in Washington.
Plenty of male role models.
He chooses to ignore them.
