Props to all those who've displayed Ol' Crimson over the years, including the man, Tom Pounds. Props to Mike Leach, the man who resurrected this program and whose efforts brought ESPN College Gameday to Pullman at a time most didn't think it would happen (a rebuilding year - or, in the narrative of losers, 2014-2018 = 1994-1998). And, finally, props to those who hitched their Wazzu horse to this post called Gameday. Hopes and dreams are alive in Pullman. This is fvcking unreal.

One wonders if ESPN is like, “ Alright you win...we came to Pullman, can we give the ol’ Crimson a rest already?”

I remember just a couple years ago when some of our lousy fans would say that this tradition is an embarrassment.....that we should stop waving the flag. Thank god those guys were only a vocal minority. This morning was nothing short of amazing..... so glad I got to experience this with my son and his fiancé. What a great time in WSU history!!! A win today turns the PAC 12 upside down. Go Cougs!!!!

I’m not a terribly emotional person, but I found myself with some kind of medical issue this morning as my eyes were leaking beyond my control watching Gameday in PULLMAN!! It’s just surreal, Go Cougs!

I waved it twice in Gainesville Florida. Very satisfying seeing it all come to fruition. Go Cougs!

Congratulations to all involved in making this a special day.
Now it's up to the team and the fans to get involved and get the win.

Agreed Yak. I saw this as a rebuild year also. Wins over Utah and Oregon have shoved that notion right back into my face. What a day to be a Coug!!

The sunrise footage over the wheatfields was pretty awesome. Popcorn Man was a hoot. Corso in a Coug head was good.

The best from a Game Day perspective? Proving Herbstreit wrong.

I remember arguing with HoopsCoug about ol’ Crimson back in the day. He thought it was corny. I thought it was the single greatest marketing idea in the history of our University.

I won that argument.
And Hoops has never been seen again.

Waving the flag is infinitely better than undefeated fans.
