hmmmmm.I dunno...but I do think the way we are playing we have a good shit of going bowling.

And what is the problem with the quote ?That's an excellent example of how the NY Times quotes their sources.
hmmmmm.
I suspect June Jones saw an opportunity for a P5 gig and knifed his friend in the back because he knew it would get him considered for the gig.I know Roberson was coaching . Not sure your point . I simply point out you are stuck in 2008-11you bring up stuff to relive it . The greater point is one game doesn’t define June Jones or Mike Leach, who did get beat by a Roberson led defense. Paul wulff is long gone, and only time he is even thought of is when you bring it up.
If we lose three offensive coaches it does make sense that someone with Jones knowledge of the offense step in for the final 5 games and then they move on to another coach .
My father believed in protests in 1978. He saw the school larger than the person. What do you think the school would say? If I was the president and AD, I would talk to each member and strongly suggest it is in everyone's best interest to play. And leave it at that. And if they don't, well then they don't.
The UW president is VERY interested in Sonny Dykes to replace Jimmy FakeI suspect June Jones saw an opportunity for a P5 gig and knifed his friend in the back because he knew it would get him considered for the gig.
If we axe Rolo over this, I'd much rather we try to bring in an Air Raid guy like Sonny Dykes or Graham Harrell.
I don't see Sonny Dykes complete neglect of the defensive side of the ball holding up well in Muttlake. The UW president is VERY interested in Sonny Dykes to replace Jimmy Fake
Offensive Cordinator?I don't see Sonny Dykes complete neglect of the defensive side of the ball holding up well in Muttlake.
When was the last time an outsider was brought in as an interim coach? That just seems like it would be a really weird move, unless Jones is the next head coach. He has no familiarity with the players and it probably wouldn't sit well with any of the players or the rest of the staff.Who will call plays? You are short bodies....you are short people who know this offense.
I don't understand this Graham Harrell infatuation.I suspect June Jones saw an opportunity for a P5 gig and knifed his friend in the back because he knew it would get him considered for the gig.

You might have been right the first time.I don't understand this Graham Harrell

He has done less with more at USC.
The June Jones thing interests me only because I want to see the run and shit thru to fruition here.
Uggh..stupid sausage fingers. Run and shoot
Something I hadn't contemplated before.....and the SWA 'sick out' brought this to the fore.
What if the team said "We stand by our coach" and refused to play?
Discuss.
Well, then...someone sits down with those players and reminds them that they signed contracts to play football in exchange for free tuition. If they're not going to play, guess what happens?Something I hadn't contemplated before.....and the SWA 'sick out' brought this to the fore.

You read as well as Ed - though he eventually caught on. Follow the thread, grasshopper. There isn't a single unpaid laborer out there willing to strike on behalf of management. Nice little fantasy though.
They illegally record their coach and then leak it to the press?Well, then...someone sits down with those players and reminds them that they signed contracts to play football in exchange for free tuition. If they're not going to play, guess what happens?

Transfer portal. You guys think it's just as easy as telling people what to do. Doesn't work that way in real life.Well, then...someone sits down with those players and reminds them that they signed contracts to play football in exchange for free tuition. If two adults in positions like Chun and Schulz come and tell some 20-something kids that 'you don't play, we don't pay' most of them are going to cave. A few might go ahead and enter the portal. Let them. Most won't get picked up anyway, and you can't let the inmates run the asylum.Transfer portal. You guys think it's just as easy as telling people what to do. For every action, there's an equal and opposite reaction. There's also the law of unintended consequences.
Of which Chun and Schulz are well aware.
You think the SWA CEO thought all his pilots were going to 'get sick' at once last weekend?
That is part of it . I am sure they would have that as an initial reaction . But you think the seniors who didn’t have a season last year wants to miss five more games this year .They illegally record their coach and then leak it to the press?
I was being facetious 😬That is part of it . I am sure they would have that as an initial reaction . But you think the seniors who didn’t have a season last year wants to miss five more games this year .
My bad … reply wasn’t meant for you .I was being facetious 😬
So a generalization of a generalization...got it.That's an excellent example of how the NY Times quotes their sources.
