That’s another reason why Cooper is facing a tough decision. Next season is essentially Rolo’s 1st, and he’ll hit Spring camp with 2 highly regarded QBs that he recruited.
Maybe Cruz should of took one of the offers from Cincinnati, ASU, San Jose State, or Baylor. Cooper had Georgia, Iowa State, Oregon State, ASU, Boise State, Ole Miss and Tennessee. In hindsight, they may have never come to WSU.
Every QB not starting for those programs could share the same story. It’s a competitive position. Cruz got beaten out by Gordon, a record setting senior QB for Leach, and de Laura, a kid with offers from Ohio State and SC from one of the top high school QB programs in the Nation.
WSU isn’t a blue blood program, but we have a blue blood legacy at the QB position.
Do you think he'd be a starter at Ohio State? The second stringer was the 14th rated QB coming out of high school just like Cammon Cooper.
WSU is ranked 14th....just like Cooper. I didn't know Purdue was #1.
