SOCIAL: What does it mean to be a WSU Coug?

Throughout the day, the Washington State football Twitter account has been sending out quotes from former student athletes and others Cougs with the caption "What does it mean to be a WSU Coug?"

They're pretty cool. I've attached a few of them below, but you can check them all out at this link.

All good thoughts. I particularly liked Gesser's Hawaiian take on it.

For me it is pride in a time and place in my life that produced my wife, 1 brother and 2 sisters in law, many great friends, and an outlook that is uniquely Coug. The expression, "It's a Coug thing" seems kind of shallow at first, but like the proverbial onion, as you peel the layers you keep finding more inside. Part of being a Coug is recognizing that it is truly never over until it is over, and you are never really an underdog unless you believe that you are. Another part is recognizing that contributions to life can come from every person you meet. Cougs in general are simultaneously proud and humble, and usually understand where to apply each.

When you peel the onion you get more tears too. Just like watching WSU sports over the years.
