A couple new offers out

Washington State stayed busy on the recruiting front as they continue to evaluate players on the road. Oxnard (Calif.) Rio Mesa receiver Steve Houston picked up his first offer from the Cougars on Wednesday. He's listed at 6-foot-3, 185-pounds.

The Cougars also offered a 2017 tight end on Wednesday, Jimmy Jaggers, candidate for the class all-name team. Name aside, Jaggers is listed at 6-foot-3, 237-pounds and probably projects as a defensive end at the next level, similar to the rest of the tight ends the Cougars typically offer.

In addition to Washington State, Jaggers holds offers from Louisville, Michigan, Northwestern, Oregon State, Utah and Washington, who offered yesterday.

Staff visits Idaho defensive tackle

Coach Yost and Salave'a stopped by Pocatello (ID) Highland on Wednesday to check in on defensive tackle target Wayne Kirby. The 6-foot-3, 306-pound lineman also holds offers from Eastern Washington, Idaho, and Weber State.
