I saw him hammered at a dominos...that was all I saw. So you have additional video?Luani got jumpped and the frat boys that did so forgot that for Polys fighting is somewhere between eating and breathing and ended up getting their ass beat. Don't fault Luani for that at all, but that didn't stop the Evergreen and every other football basher from making him out to be a punk football player.
If Luani had threatened the crowd and invited them to a fight he would have had it coming. Given his actions it's doubtful that happened.Wait you saw what happened in the parking lot?
You know he was hammered from a sound free-video, interesting.I saw him hammered at a dominos...that was all I saw. So you have additional video?
I stand corrected … he just appeared to be hammered . You need sound to see that someone drank too much ? When they stumble around not sure I need sound. You know he was hammered from a sound free video, interesting.
In other words you don’t know what happened outside . So he could have been that coked up frat boy and wised off to the wrong people and had it coming … is that what you are saying ?If Luani had threatened the crowd and invited them to a fight he would have had it coming. Given his actions it's doubtful that happened.
Well, of course.
ARBY'S HAS THE MEATS!!!!!
I think he appeared to be pissed off. He had ordered his pizza well in advance and had to wait past the time it was supposed to be ready. There's instances when truly pissed off people may appear to some "to be drunk". That may have to do with angry drunks and self-projection. Ed, you need a Breathalyzer test to indicate their alcohol level.I stand corrected … he just appeared to be hammered . You need sound to see that someone drank too much ? I have seen that stumble once or twice....but not me of course.I think he appeared to be pissed off. Speaking of assholes around campus anyone remember Tore (sp?) Big roided up MF with a nasty scar on his mug. He terrorized the weight room on a daily basis. This guy would go around telling people to get off the equipment he wanted to use, if they didn't comply he would grab them and toss them around.38 years later and I break out in a cold sweat whenever a Domino's ad comes on.
They had video of Luani at Domino's. He was standing in line some people decided to get in his face, Luani pushed one of them out of his space as he was exiting and a bunch of guys followed him out the door. Arresting Luani was a joke and Leach was understandably pissed given the circumstances of the arrest.
You ever notice how you're the only guy railing on these kids as hard as you do? And you never miss an opportunity to try to indict them in the court of public opinion. Why do you think that is?That is a generous interpretation of what happened. Luani was clearly drunk and acting like an a-hole.
Luani stumbles into view (cutting the line as a I recall) and starts talking casually with some guy who casually chats back. Someone behind Luani (out of view) says something to Luani and he says something back. Whatever Luani said pissed off the dude that was just chatting casually with him a few seconds earlier. At that point, there wasn't a single person in that Domino's on Luani's side. I don't know what he said, but everyone was saying, "Get the F out of here, bro!". Some dude by the door tries to guide Luani outside and Luani, in his drunken state, decides to take a stroke at the dude's face on the way out. He didn't "push one of them out of his space".....he took a cheap shot at the dude in the bandana on his way out.
Luani didn't deserve to be arrested and that was pretty stupid on the part of the Pullman PD. However, he was being a drunken a-hole in the most classic sense of the term. Frankly, this falls into the same vein as Barber. None of you would give a sh!t if that was some drunken frat dude getting his ass kicked outside of Dominos after shoving some dude in the face. You wouldn't care if he was arrested along with the other dudes. However, because he played football for WSU, you want to defend him. And if it was a drunk Husky football player, you'd be celebrating the fact that he got his ass kicked by the group of dudes. FWIW, there were no "good guys" in that situation.
The dude in the red headband got exactly what he deserved. I was no tough guy back in the day, but I knew how to fight. If anyone put their hands on me like that; particularly in front of a group of people, I would punch them in the face without hesitation. It's an Italian thing I guess. My Grandfather was a golden gloves boxer, and he taught me that in those situations, you hit first when someone gets in your face. There aren't going to be more than 3-4 punches thrown in group settings like that, so make sure you get the first one in and make it count.

Maybe some introspection might be called for, huh? Because while no one here condones it, they sure as hell don't get as worked up as you do. Every time.
He was already heading the door and being pushed around in the process as opposed to "stumbling". The patrons are not security guards. They touched him first, Luani was so pissed that shoved the guy in the face as is to say let's take it outside. Several people followed in order to either have him arrested for the swipe or to gang up on him (perhaps a combination). Sorry, when you engage someone in a fight as opposed to taking the shot and having him prosecuted...you wave a whole lot rights. Everyone in there was drunk and laughing at what took place outdoors. You
Are you serious? The guy at the door deserved the head slap? The dude in the red headband got exactly what he deserved. I was no tough guy back in the day, but I knew how to fight. Junior was not a good guy, and to pretend he was in college is total BS. You either werent around him enough or your eyes were closed.Your experience was same as mine. I genuinely enjoyed being around Junior, and made it a point to steer clear of Millard because of the high likelihood of imminent trouble.
Fro point taken. A guy who is an elite athlete who goes up against 240 pound tight ends, takes on 300 pound guards pulling is easily escorted out of Dominos by the guy in the blue shirt. A athlete of his ability would not have been moved out by anyone if he wasn't drinking. .I think he appeared to be pissed off. I guess I am with Flat. I don't even think of Luani or Barber or Millard unless they are brought up. I see guys get booted for smoking pot, but fighting is ok. You think Barber's safety was in jeopardy? Luani before he pushed the guy in the head? You ever notice how you're the only guy railing on these kids as hard as you do? And you never miss an opportunity to try to indict them in the court of public opinion. Why do you think that is?

Not true. It has to do with mentality. Alcohol brings on the flight or fight response . Luani chose to leave and some opportunist punk chose to look like a tough guy. He was going to leave peacefully before the peanut gallery began to feel the oats.Fro point taken. I never said Junior was a good guy -- nor am I trying to defend him as such or paint him as one now. Just pointing out that a handful of folks got to see a fun side of junior back then and I was one.Junior was not a good guy, and to pretend he was in college is total BS. He had zero problem to try and intimidate any one he could. He had no problem with causing trouble. He had no problem with picking fights with people for fun. If I didn't know Keller's girlfriend he would have had zero problem with screwing with me.
Here is what I know. There is someone always "tougher". There was a person in my sphere who was probably 35 pounds lighter than Junior. The person ran across Junior from time to time. Junior would try to push the envelope. And to this day I can tell you Junior is very fortunate there was patience on the other end.
And Junior showed exactly what he was becoming. He was a bodyguard for a pretty high drug dealer in California after he graduated. So while he did change and I am happy he did so, doesn't change the history on what he did on campus.
Don’t you realize that in this forum there is only black or white?I never said Junior was a good guy -- nor am I trying to defend him as such or paint him as one now. Just pointing out that a handful of folks got to see a fun side of junior back then and I was one.
Yes, remember Tore well. He was a horrible person. He caused trouble everywhere he went back then. He threatened me and my friends on several occasions just because he could. He used to start fights. He hit women. One time a friend of mine saw Tore beating up a woman at a party, and he jumped in to stop it. My friend was a state champion wrestler from Oregon and was able to take Tore down long enough for the woman to get away.Speaking of assholes around campus anyone remember Tore (sp?) Big roided up MF with a nasty scar on his mug. He terrorized the weight room on a daily basis. I was at Ratskellers one Saturday night in the Fall of 87 hanging with Ron Ricard. Michael Pringle (Canadian Football HOFer and recipient of a broken jaw by Big Bob Garman) and the Bruiser came by and sat down with us. Pringle went to the bar to order some drinks, came back a few minutes later rattled. Tore was at the bar and had started pushing him around, Bruiser went and found Tore and beat his ass good. Tore didn't learn his lesson as he showed up at Bruisers front door the next morning claiming he was drunk and wanted another shot at the title...Bruiser went out into the parking lot and gave Tore his second ass whooping in a span of 12 hours.
Didn't see much of Tore around campus for a while after the Bruiser beating(s).
You know he was hammered from a sound free-video, interesting.
SD …. Not sure how you construe this as a black or white issue . I have no doubt Junior could be fun. But you could ask a ton of people who were picked on by him that wouldn’t see his “fun side”. The fact his behavior carried over to being a body guard for a pretty high level drug dealer sure points to the fact this behavior was building vs graduating from wsu as a good guy and then went off the rails .Don’t you realize that in this forum there is only black
Classic “Do you know who I am?” moment. Anybody who’s uttered those words or copped that type of an attitude deserves what’s coming to them. That is a generous interpretation of what happened. Luani was clearly drunk and acting like an a-hole.

I dunno about that. Just because you are yoked up and can bench press 400 and run fast doesn’t mean you can fight. You can intimidate, sure, but any guys like this come across a good high school wrestler I’ll take the wrestler every time. I’ve seen a 140 lb wrestler completely immobilize a 240 lb world class athlete in no time. That’s why it’s not good form to be running around starting shit even if you are a physical beast…chances are there’s an average Joe looking guy around any corner who can take you down. Most of the time I’ve seen stuff like this though it’s roid/drug/alcohol driven so there’s not much processing going on.If those patrons had mouthed off to Junior back in the day, there'd be three dead frat boys. Luani's response was tame.
Sometimes the better part of valor is just keeping your damned mouth shut until things de-escalate. Not sure if it is the first-person shooter games but kids the last 15 years or so seem to think they have multiple lives/can level up.
To paraphrase the old commercial, you may be the toughest kid on your block but you'll never win a fight with a D1 level football player.
Is there another video I haven’t seen ? I am dead serious .Not true. It has to do with mentality. Alcohol brings on the flight or fight response . Luani chose to leave and some opportunist punk chose to look like a tough guy. He was going to leave peacefully before the peanut gallery began to feel the oats.
You mean about the "elephant in the room"?Is there another video I haven’t seen ? I am dead serious .
“Too Funny” the two posters that have the biggest (personal) “opinion” on these matters tend to be tunnel vision on every topic they engage in on the board. Their prism is correct & all others are wrong. I love also how they always prop up their own expert sources as evidence they are correct. Like anyone here gives a F.

Only one guy on campus I could have feared but didn't while I was on campus. He was a quiet soul, an accounting major, maybe 5 8 and 155 pounds. The guy liked me cause he couldn't hold his alcohol at our floor parties and he respected me enough when I said enough was enough he would go back to his room and sleep it off. If not, there could have been a lot of hurt people at the party.I dunno about that. Just because you are yoked up and can bench press 400 and run fast doesn’t mean you can fight. That's what I was asking about version. He's clearly pushed around as he's leaving.....not staggering. I think if the last conversation at the door with Mr. Bandana had not happened...things would of ended peacefully. Is there another video I haven’t seen ? I am dead serious .
Maybe Luani should have just hit her...she had it coming to her.You mean about the "elephant in the room"?
The fat white chick who is ordering a pizza at 1:36 AM and seems to be the Queen Bee to all her drones who went after Luani?
Did she get two pizzas or just one?
Ok then we agree. The guy he should have punched was the guy short of pushing him out. He was not "leaving", he was being guided out by a guy. And the blond put her hands on him. Again, after what appears to be a reaction to someone out of the picture said to him, Luani said something. He was then being pushed out, not leaving of his own accord and voluntarily leaving. Before he exits he leans up against the door jame. He wasn't standing straight up. A woman put her hands on him ...the blond....and she too was sort of escorting him to leave. That's what I was asking about version. He's clearly pushed around as he's leaving.....not staggering. I think if the last conversation at the door with Mr. Bandana had not happened...things would of ended peacefully.
Jesus Ed, at one moment you're saying athletes have super powers (which they really do at times...even intoxicated), and then next you're trying to prove otherwise. No, we don't agree. He shouldn't of punched anybody. The guy guiding him out obviously had some semblance of appeal to reason that Shaun agreed with, but bandana boy wanted to appear as some superhero by adding insult to injury. And NO, if he wasn't leaving voluntarily...no one could pushed him out the door.
I guarantee he would of started this altercation inside the building, but- he had enough presence to know the correct coarse which was out the building. Furthermore, he had been pushed up against the door. Unless you can read lips....what did they actually say to each other?
And furthermore, I totally enjoyed my discussions with you on the "paid board" going back 14 years now?
