Call me old fashioned, but I don't think anyone outside of the TT family has standing to call him that, UNLESS he has adopted it and uses it himself. I find it disrespectful.

You think the kids call him "Coach Elf"? Just wondering.

Spoke to my nephew. He played baseball with him. Said he’s a solid athlete and a great guy.
I didn’t get much.

I hear he is a great kid. Here is a video on youtube of him being interviewed by a couple of his friends at Little Elm.

I watched the first 15 minutes or so.

He seems to a lot faster and his wind up doesn't make me cringe.

He seems to do everything better than JDL. Looked more like Minshew in the pocket with wheels.

Agreed he does appear faster, what I saw that reminded me of JdL was how he slung it on the run and his scrambling ability. I agree, do see some GM2 in him as well. Texas has SO MUCH "coached up" talent in the high school ranks.

Please. What are we supposed to do as fans? Mope around because JdL bolted and then poo poo every QB we offer? Feel free to do just that. I for one choose to be excited/optimistic about Cam Ward as well as the HS QB's we have offered.

We are doomed. Cougar football will never be the same since JDL left. And yes Ward is better because he is here.

Did he not look faster to you? did his release not look better? His touch didn't look better?

He might not end up being better, but for now this what I see. Of course we won't know until he gets here.
