Tom Brady on the new generation of qb's (who can't or won't read a defense pre-snap)

Fck tom brady. That's all I have to say about that
He’s the GD worst, I can’t believe Fox paid him that boatload of money. Waste of money anyways even if he was good but he’s absolutely terrible.

I never thought I’d say it but his voice is more annoying to me that Kermit Mahomes.

Those promotional commercials they have featuring him grinding it out to portray him as a hard worker overcoming doubts about his broadcasting chops annoy the hell out of me.

As if fans tune into games for the commentators, espicially him. Hes not good, or particularly insightful. Ive heard that part of the problem is that since he's part owner he is restricted access to the pregame meetings with the teams he's going to be covering. If true, it shows.

Here's my brief list of those MUCH better than Brady at this:

Collinsworth, Aikman, Sanchez, Olson, Romo. I suppose i could list about 20 more. Taihtsat

That’s what’s stupid about them paying guys that kind of scratch…if the games interesting fans will tune into it. And most NFL games are competitive so most aren’t getting turned off early. Romo is grossly overpaid as well. It doesn’t seem like it would pencil for the networks, are advertisers salivating to pay more for ads because Brady is on the mic?

I'll certainly tune out of games based on the commentators.

Last year's Super Bowl? Unlistenable on CBS. Nantz is the worst. CBS muzzled Tony Romo on pre-calling plays, so now he mails it in.

In terms of Network pairings...
FOX: Kevin Burkhardt is good and Brady isn't great, but will improve over time. (PS, Adam Amin is a rising star in PBP -- he called the WSU/USC game while at ESPN in 2017).
ESPN: Buck/Aikman are the tops. I love when Aikman doesn't care and let's it rip. It's refreshing.
NBC: Tirico/Collinsworth are solid.
TNF: Al Michaels is doing a great job at cashing them Amazon checks. Herbie is better at the college game, but he's a shrill now and frankly no longer fun to listen to.

We need more Kevin Harlan, the current PBP king.
