you get leach and price we’re both five games over five hundred for their career at WSU . But if you want to compare the two feel free. In 96 If WSU played Idaho state instead of CU they would have been 6-5. If they played Northern Colorado in 93 instead of Michigan they would have had another overall winning record. So a change in income from the PAC 12 and a change in scheduling played a factor in the overall winning record .

Well, you are partially correct. I don't follow college football nearly as much as I did 10 yrs ago. Have other interests as opposed to hanging out on here all day every day like some of your peers.

You complained about someone using your first name above. Easy solution- don’t post things in a public forum if you don’t want that information public.

For decades WSU whored itself out for the money. It had no business playing non con games against some of these teams. It was essentially starting the season 0-1. Now dig out of it and try to have a winning season.

I understand the need for capital. I also understand that ultimately winning games is the path to financial success. It was a catch 22.

The SEC has laid out the blueprint on how to get to bowl games. Why schools refuse to follow it is beyond me. Just win.

Your blame is misplaced. Your conversation needs to be with the one who is posting and has posted information(not only our names but places of employment).

The fact that you keep responding to me on this topic and haven't said a word to the offender tells me you defend that behavior. You absolutely do.

Pretty sure you would sing a different tune if the same person posted the name of your kids, the street you live on etc.

Well I think the Rose Bowl is prestige. Do you think the average consumer of WSU football can tell you when we played in the Alamo Bowl, the score and who we played? If you asked the average consumer who would think about going to bowl games would they attend the game in San Antonio or San Diego?

After the Rose Bowl there really isn't any "prestige". The school make about 100k more in San Antonio than it does in San Diego. Some (so I can be really accurate for the accurate police...some meaning less than 30k) is offset by travel expense and ticket demand.

And let me ask you about "prestige", if you went to your wife and asked her where she would rather travel to, would she say San Antonio or San Diego? And say in 2019 WSU went to the Rose Bowl, if USC went to San Antonio in 2018 and 2017, and had dismal showings in attendance and on the field play, Oregon was the third place team, could the Alamo Bowl and the Pac 12 put the Oregon Ducks in the Alamo Bowl? Do you think the "prestige" as you call it, moves the needle for the players, fans, or recruits?

Even last year people on this board were putting their vote on Vegas....shouldn't they have been hoping for El PAso since it is "more prestigious"?

My wife doesn't determine bowl hierarchy. The average consumer doesn't either. You're choosing an awfully weird topic, with absolutely zero factual support, to argue about. Do you always look the other way at bad behavior. It would be like me going to a mutual friends facebook page, discover your wife's name, and next thing you know I mention it to someone and when they get pissed at me or you they put it on the board and your wife is the innocent party.

So yeah he should be upset at me for not realizing someone was off their rocker when we sent emails back and forth regarding Bill Doba. Error in my judgement. Yeah keep looking the other way tho....

Not sure the fascination with our backsides butt whatever floats your boat. No one ever said the average consumer determines the hierarchy of the bowls. I said after the Rose Bowl there is no prestige, and by tickets and travel people prefer San Diego. And yes, a portion of that is because many of our alums live in Cali. So it is my opinion the Holiday Bowl is a better bowl. And the bowl can change the contestants which is their prerogative, which makes the Pac 12 finish slightly less important because a third place team can slide in that spot if the bowl doesn't want a team returning.

So again, we're back to Ed's opinion determining what bowls are better. Not order of selection, payouts, or anything else. Why you chose to defend ignorance is flat out weird. And news flash, the Holiday Bowl is going to be the #5 bowl this season because the Vegas Bowl and Los Angeles Bowl are now slotted as the #3 and #4 selections. .

I'd personally prefer a trip to San Antonio because I've never been there.

So there's no difference in prestige between the Alamo Bowl or the (former) Foster Farms Bowl, Redbox Bowl, Independence Bowl (vs. a 7-5 ACC team in Mississippi), or some of the past tie-ins like the Famous Potato Bowl or Cheez-It Bowl? Yeah, sure.
