Cal Poly-SLO couldn't overcome a 45-9 halftime deficit and lost to Eastern at Roos-Wulff Field in Cheney.

The Mustangs dropped to 1-5 in the Big Sky during CPW's first season. Fair or not, it sounds like he's got another rebuilding job on his hands.

One interesting side note: Cal Poly recorded three (3!) safeties in the game. So it appears Coach Wulff has that part of his team in good shape.

maybe he has a rebuilding job @CPU, but probably more accurate to say he created a rebuilding job at WSU.

Also, might be worse that you lost by 40 points to a team that gave up 3 safeties. No way you can achieve that without a masterful level of cluster****ery.

What's worse is that EWU under Aaron Best is nowhere near EWU under Beau Baldwin.

They've fallen into mid-tier in the Big Sky with Idaho, Montana and Montana State reclaiming their natural born place in the pecking order.
