Utah State predictions

We're going to blow the doors off of the Aggies, but that's not on my mind.

What's on my mind is this:

We're 7-1.
We're ranked.
We have a chance to be 11-1.

Just the above, should be enough....but it's not.

Fast forward....

Dickert and team run out of the tunnel Saturday night at 7:25pm, and look up at the crowd, Martin Stadium, home game, 7-1, and ranked.
And what do they see?

They see a ton of empty seats.

Why? Let's look at the reasons why there's going to be a ton of empty seats with a 7-1 team, ranked in the CFP # 21:
  • Not a big brand, big name opponent.
  • Pullman is hard to get to.
  • It's a night game.
  • It's going to be freezing.
  • It's super expensive, (for a lot of fans, especially "the casual fan" to grab a hotel for the weekend. Even RV'rs, it's not inexpensive.
  • It's cheaper, easier, and warmer with a huge 4K TV at home. Plus, you don't have to go very far for the comforts of home.
Am I missing anything else? No beer and wine sales?

Besides winning, what is the most important thing to CJD and our players?

Fans in the seats.
But, unfortunately, it won't even be close to a sellout.

That's what's on my mind.

Yeah, I think we bitch-slap them. Mateer goes wild. Lots for us and not so much for them. Martin crowd will be drunk and rather loud.
Did you see the O- line article on CF.C? It’s free.

Answers a lot of questions asked in this forum over the past 3-4 weeks regarding the O-line.

USU plays fast. They use no huddle and there will be a lot of plays this game. They lost receiver, Jalen Royals, during the NM game. He was probably the second-best receiver the Cougars would have faced this year, a potential second day NFL pick. That is huge for them and will hurt their offense. USU's defense is next level bad, maybe the worst in all of D1. USU 17, Cougs 55.

The 7:30 kick is killing the casual and family demographic, for sure.

But hey, we should get at least half of the what... 8k season ticket holders there?

Too many words to type a TL; DR for us there, Sparky?

I don't go to communistfan.communism because they're fascist jerks, so maybe you could fill us in? Please?
