Yeah, I think we bitch-slap them. Mateer goes wild. Lots for us and not so much for them. Martin crowd will be drunk and rather loud.News from the Oline is encouraging.
49-19 Cougs
We're going to blow the doors off of the Aggies, but that's not on my mind.
What's on my mind is this:
We're 7-1.
We're ranked.
We have a chance to be 11-1.
Just the above, should be enough....but it's not.
Fast forward....
Dickert and team run out of the tunnel Saturday night at 7:25pm, and look up at the crowd, Martin Stadium, home game, 7-1, and ranked.
And what do they see?
They see a ton of empty seats.
Why? Let's look at the reasons why they're going to be a ton of empty seats with a 7-1 team, ranked in the CFP # 21:
Am I missing anything else? No beer and wine sales?
- Not a big brand, big name opponent.
- Pullman is hard to get to.
- It's a night game.
- It's going to be freezing.
- It's super expensive, (for a lot of fans, especially "the casual fan" to grab a hotel for the weekend. Even RV'rs, it's not inexpensive.
- It's cheaper, easier, and warmer with a huge 4K TV at home. Plus, you don't have to go very far for the comforts of home.
Besides winning, what is the most important thing to CJD and our players?
Fans in the seats. But, unfortunately, it won't even be close to a sellout.
That's what's on my mind.

Did you see the O- line article on CF.C? It’s free.Yeah, I think we bitch-slap them. Mateer goes wild. Lots for us and not so much for them. Martin crowd will be drunk and rather loud.
Line is 20.5. This has a bad beat written all over it.I'm thinking a repeat of the Hawaii game is what *should* happen, but I can also see Utah State scoring more points.
USU 21
WSU 41
The 7:30 kick is killing the casual and family demographic, for sure. We're going to blow the doors off of the Aggies, but that's not on my mind.

Too many words to type a TL; DR for us there, Sparky?Did you see the O- line article on CF.C? It’s free.
Answers a lot of questions asked in this forum over the past 3-4 weeks regarding the O-line.
I get the anxiety going into this but, I’m looking for Mateer to go off. Running, passing, the full meal deal. Heisman-esqLine is 20.5. This has a bad beat written all over it.

I can’t shake the feeling I’m getting that the loyalists who show up in the stadium tonight will be richly rewarded with a memory they won’t soon forget.
I will be there, bundled up in my "Full Pullman" outfit. I guess I am an average fan since it will be just me using my 2 tickets. Unless I can sell it for a few pesos or give it away to someone outside the entry. The 7:30 kick is killing the casual and family demographic, for sure.
But hey, we should get at least half of the what... 8k season ticket holders there?
In recent years, there's a break thru technology on heated jackets, and heated vests found on Amazon, which are thin enough that your outer jacket goes over. These of course are powered by battery packs, via USB charging. Might be the Pullberg ticket for November games, and I'm excited to check mine next weekend in Albuquerque to see if it's a game changer.I will be there, bundled up in my "Full Pullman" outfit. Looking forward to my pre-game carne asada meal at La Casa Lopez instead of the meager offerings at the CUB food court.
The sticky hand/tow warmers. Slap one on the back of your neck.In recent years, there's a break thru technology on heated jackets, and heated vests found on Amazon, which are thin enough that your outer jacket goes over. What a solution for the brutal cold weather, especially for our last home game against WYO.
You guys are weenies. It’s not even going to be that cold. Low 40s.The sticky hand/tow warmers. Slap one on the back of your neck.
I should have added “if you don’t have a fifth of fireball to slap on to the back of your neck”.You guys are weenies. It’s not even going to be that cold. Low 40s.
Every one of us has been to much colder games in Pullman, and learned that all weather is well tolerated as long as your antifreeze levels are properly adjusted.
Not my antifreeze of choice, but if it works for you…I should have added “if you don’t have a fifth of fireball to slap on to the back of your neck”.
