In the interest of promoting civility on this board, would anyone be up for a group meet up on Saturday before kick off. Lots of time between gameday and 4:30. Maybe folks here would be nicer to each other if they had shaken hands and looked each other in the eye. Any interest whatsoever?

BTW, I tried organizing a meet and greet in Seattle at Century Link, (years ago) and only two other CougZone guys showed up. cr8ysncalif and Britton. Anticipated more interest.

I'm not familiar with the "bookie table in the fieldhouse" but will find it. 2:30 sounds fine with me.
A good idea. I wish I could make it. I met some of the first members back circa 1998. It has been 20 years that Biggs has been drinking on my bar tab.
You do have a little DT in you. The bone spurs will come in handy.I don't care for having witnesses around when I kill someone, but that's just me.
Update. I think we should meet up when the marching band is done. Cougar Prowl starts at 2:20 (give or take). Coaches, team walk-thru, then the band. After the band is done, let's head over to the Bookie table. Should be sometime before 3pm.

It would be too much of a let down if you don't look like either Cliff Claven or sound like John Fiedler (Mr Peterson from Bob Newhart Show).
When KJR started up local sports radio in the early 1990s, their hosts (before Mitch Levy came on board) were all about 80 pounds minimum overweight. Not just fat, obese. To be fair a number of them have lost quite a bit weight since then (Softy, Groz) and NY Vinny had a quite a bit to do with Seattle getting a new baseball park. But one of the print guys at the time (Steve Kelley) was rather amused by it.
Sorry about that. Only two other guys chimed in, Kayak15 and EdmondsCoug. Wasn't checking this site on my phone while at the Fieldhouse. We should have done a roll call.
Just myself, Kayak15 and EdmondsCoug. Maybe next time we'll promote the meet and greet better.
