Longtime Colorado verbal Davis Webb finished up his degree from Texas Tech and will be a senior transfer to CAL instead of CU. He had committed to Colorado back in January and had signed a non-binding financial aid agreement.

CAL kept on recruiting him. He changed his mind and decided to transfer to the Bears to replace Goff. Webb has thrown for over 5000 yards and has 46 TD passes in his career. He was a half time starter in his freshman and sophomore years, but was a backup to Pat Mahomes last season.

This is a huge loss for Colorado, as no one knows if Sefo Luifau will be ready to start the season after his injury last year.

Agree with the above. Without Liufau the Buffs have three returnees at QB, two Seniors and a Junior, and two incoming Freshmen. I don't know how good they are but if the Colorado staff had a lot of faith in them they would not have gone after Webb so intensely. MacIntyre's seat must be getting a bit warm.
