I'm happy athletes are able to be paid (although how "legal" is in question), but I am absolutely not contributing or paying for an athlete unless it's contributing directly to a scholarship.

Also, it seems the Cougar Collective has been a collective sh*t-show, and poorly organized compared to the many other collectives. What is with WSU and subsidiaries, and making donating hard or being fully communicative?
