Ella went down early last year and after expressing a desire for another year, I figured a medical red-shirt year was a slam dunk. Nice to make it official though. Good news indeed.

I am a fan of the NCAA granting more years. If Student Athlete’s want another year because on injury, that’s great news. That’s one more year of education. Could mean a 2nd bachelor’s or minor. Maybe starts a graduate program. So effing what if a kid gets another year to play because they got hurt??? Ultimately isnt it in good spirit of what the NCAA wants to do? Educate kids???
