Re: Actually I do get it
As to the greater point, I think we can safely conclude that the former staff struggled with player development, and struggled with recruiting as well. A lot of guys seemed to get worse. Simone and Toomer are examples. They both got too heavy, IMO. AHE was another guy that looked bloated. I didn't see much, if any, physical development from the OL during Wulff's tenure. Totally different story with Leach's staff- bellies are smaller and arms are bigger, and he's starting with more guys that have totally different types of frames than Reitnouer and Valenzuela.
I don't think anyone is arguing that there were more than three verbal commitments when Doba was let go. Spitz was committed along with Karstetter and Hodgdon.Originally posted by CougEd:
Again, ask Greg how many verbals they had. How many visits they had set up? How many commits? There are two sources. Hard data and what you term as a source. Sure one can be full of crap, but the numbers don't lie. And the source is just as reliable as Coach Peterson.
One coach has a class full to pick and choose from, the other had Karsteter and Hodson. Maybe Peterson can tell you how Rosie and Yarno were working as one and how they worked so well together to sell WSU.
