Biden won’t because he’s had one and know what it will show. No other reason to refuse. That's pretty funny 90! And probably not that far off.
Speaking of Biden, I managed to see most of the disappointingly short interview in bits. Here's my take. Biden should take the cognitive test, whatever the F that is, and share it with the country - good, bad or meh. Voters deserve to know. With the caveat that Trump takes the same test by the same (impartial?) doctors. Aside from that, Biden's indignance doesn't play well with me. He's lost a step (at least). Shit when I'm 81 I will have lost several steps if I'm not dead. So answer questions directly. Don't avoid, like he did the cognitive test question. Admit that you have lost a step, but that you have plenty of steps left to do the job. Angry Joe can't match angry Trump. Thoughtful, relaxed, contemplative Joe may have a chance.
I sat down and watched the entire interview earlier today, and actually thought Biden did pretty well. If the debate hadn't happened, I don't think he would have gotten much flak at all from the interview. It's really said that these two are the best we can do. Both are obviously in serious decline. Watch any Trump rally, he has no idea where he is and routinely confuses people that he's talking about. Goes on weird rants that his uncle was a prof at MIT, and he himself passed a test to determine if he needs somebody to wipe him on the regular. So, he's super smart before going off about dying due to being electrocuted from a battery on a boat or getting eaten by a shark. And Joe, good gravy, the dude hasn't lost a step, he's lost the whole flight of stairs. Anybody thinking either one of them is fit for office is bananas.
Person woman man camera TV.I sat down and watched the entire interview earlier today, and actually thought Biden did pretty well. If the debate hadn't happened, I don't think he would have gotten much flak at all from the interview.
But he F-ed up the question about the cognitive test. Let the highly cerebral Loyal One provide two better answers:
1. " I'm going to say no right as we sit here, I don't need one. But, I have been thinking about it. If it is the only way to silence the doubters, maybe I will."
2. (Loyal's preferred answer) " Tell you what - I'm willing to take a full mental and cognitive test if Donald Trump will submit to one as well. And release both to the nation. Same impartial doctor(s). Of course, he says that he aced one when he was President, 4 or 5 years ago was it? Trump says that one was administered by his doctor, and I quote him, "Dr. Ronny Johnson". Oh wait, his doctor at the time was Ronny Jackson, not Johnson. Could it be a sign of cognitive decline when you can't even remember your doctor's name?"
Also forgot when he was the VP.Biden won’t because he’s had one and know what it will show. No other reason to refuse.
Remember that he forgot what year Beau died.
That 30 seconds of Ben stein explanation was easier to understand than my entire semester of Econ 102.I’ve seen Ferris Buehlers day off about 100 times so I’m an expert on the laffer curve and voodoo economics.
I had never really heard of the Laffer curve (I blame Econ 102 and 202 at WSU. And/or 301? Have to dig out my transcript). So I did a lengthy read. The basic premise is outstanding - tax rates of -0- or 100% result in no tax revenue (what a concept), and the ideal rate is something in between. I should have just stopped there. My dog could have come up with that. Master, if you don't feed me I will starve to death, if you force feed me constantly, I will blow up and die. Something in between is ideal. Woof! That 30 seconds of Ben stein explanation was easier to understand than my entire semester of Econ 102.
The Laffer curve should have died a quick death under the mountain of evidence that it doesn’t work. But…it fits republican dogma so well they keep it around. If it somehow finds conditions where it’s accurate, government revenue increases and they look like geniuses. When it doesn’t work, revenue doesn’t go up (or goes down) and then they can say we can’t afford social programs. Either way, republicans get what they want.
Apparently there is a story starting to bubble up about the White House physician consulting with a Parkinson's specialist. Also forgot when he was the VP.
Not so sure this is a bad thing. "Cannard has been a part of the broader White House medical team of doctors since 2012"Apparently there is a story starting to bubble up about the White House physician consulting with a Parkinson's specialist.
And Trump didn't know or forgot WW2 had already taken place. Thinks he is giving a speech in one state and had to be corrected he was in another. Trust me when I tell you Trump has had similar cognitive decline. Also forgot when he was the VP.
The same guy that denies he's an avid MSNBC viewer is again regurgitating MSNBC talking points. And Trump didn't know or forgot WW2 had already taken place. Thinks he is giving a speech in one state and had to be corrected he was in another. Trust me when I tell you Trump has had similar cognitive decline.
Dye Joe's hair, paint his face , a little eye lift and he will look like new.
Zero percent chance. They know the results already. Not so sure this is a bad thing. "Cannard has been a part of the broader White House medical team of doctors since 2012"
White House Combats Parkinson's Rumors
A Parkinson's expert has visited the White House repeatedly, White House visitor logs show. But a spokesman says Biden hasn't exhibited symptoms.time.com
I'm telling ya, Biden needs to come out and say that he will undergo a full examination and release the results, if Trump will do the same. This doctor seems like a perfect one to be involved.
I never said there was a chance it would happen (a cognitive test). But making the challenge to Trump would be a strategic move because he will say no. And - "they know the results already". You have zero way of knowing this. Why do you say shit like that?Zero percent chance. They know the results already.
Trump already released his results from his last year in office.
White House releases results of Trump's annual physical, says 'president remains healthy'
The White House released results from President Donald Trump's annual physical on Wednesday with Dr. Sean Conley saying he found "no interval change" in Trump's health.abcnews.go.com
Editing to add- I had one case that dealt with a cognitive test. There may be others, but I believe the most commonly used is called MMSE. This is the version used in BC. It appears consistent with the one I saw.

And your Trump annual physical article is 4 years old. mentions approximately -0- about any cognitive tests being performed, and implies that his last "full" physical was in 2019. So how does that equate to 2024?
We remember. Man woman person tvWhy else would they not agree to release results Loyal? Use your thinking cap.
And, if you bothered reading you would notice that I said "Trump already released his results from his last year in office."
That's nifty. We remember. Man woman person tv
Offhand, the doctor should be able to assert doctor-patient privilege.Parkinson’s expert who visited the WH is being subpoenaed to testify to Congress why he visited the White House a dozen times in last 12 months

That Dem convention is gonna be lit!
F if I know, maybe the same reason I wouldn’t, I’m kinda busy with my job and family. How do you know Trump actually took it and did t just bullshit about it like he does most things? If you stand in front of the testing center and hold the cognitive test upside down does that count? Cuz that was y’all’s measuring stick for Trump being a devout Christian so I’d assume that would be sufficient as well. That's nifty.
Why else would Biden not agree to take a test and release the results? I'm sure he and his campaign would love to move past his decisive victory over Medicare, the internal battle in the Democratic Party and the media scrutiny.
Since you're not the President of the United States, and your cognitive function has not been the lead story in the media for the last ten or so days, I'm not surprised that you'd rather spend time at work and with your family.F if I know, maybe the same reason I wouldn’t, I’m kinda busy with my job and family. You kill me dude. you think you are so F-ing above everybody else. And F- you, you smarmy punk. "If you bothered reading". Yeah, I read it, which prompted me to mention that it was a 4-year-old article, and the issue today is how is Biden (and Trump IMHO) TODAY. Not 4 years ago. And how are they COGNIVETELY. not how their cholesterol level is. So you quote a 4 year old article that basically has -0- to do with the topic at hand, then double down on your irrelevant BS. I bet you get slayed in court - if you ever actually go to court in your glorified law clerk job.Why else would they not agree to release results Loyal? Use your thinking cap.
And, if you bothered reading you would notice that I said "Trump already released his results from his last year in office."
What kind of lame BS excuse is this, buddy?F if I know, maybe the same reason I wouldn’t, I’m kinda busy with my job and family.
Name calling aside, you're mixing several different things together, and may be confusing yourself in the process. Trump released the results of his physical from the last year he was in office. And Biden says his doctors told him he "was fine". There are no results that they aren't releasing, because, IMHO, he hasn't gone through whatever the F the tests are. So why else are they not "releasing results" (your words buddy) from tests that didn't happen?
Name calling aside, you're mixing several different things together, and may be confusing yourself in the process. Trump released the results of his physical from the last year he was in office. That's what I wrote above. Sorry you don't like that.
Today, KJP is refusing to identify the neurologist that has been to the White House eight times in eight months, and trying to stand behind some privacy concerns about veterans that are supposedly treated at the White House. Why do you believe Biden or KJP at this point?
The most obvious thing for Biden to do is to take a test and release the results. Biden is refusing. Why would he do so? The obvious answer is that he (or at least his staff) knows the results. Think about the opportunity he has to erase concerns about his cognitive ability. If he's fine, why not do the damn test on TV? Let America see him being asked questions about what country, state, city he's in, and Biden's answers.
I don't care about Trump's results. Trying to bring them into the discussion is a simple avoidance tactic. Trump is at least coherent. Disagree with what he says all you want, but he can string together a sentence.I appreciate fact that Trumpers never change. It's obvious to everyone that Biden is in decline. I was worried that the debate would be a disaster for Biden and it was worse than that. I also think that watching Trump spew out his word salad, confused ramblings are proof that he is also in decline. However, you don't want to see that tested because you fear the results, so you pretend that four years of aging for Trump doesn't matter. Just like everything else, ,you'll stick your head in the sand to ignore anything negative with regards to your dear leader.
Blame the libs for everything and pretend that the dear leader is perfect as he thinks he is.
Okay, so now the right is shifting to Parkinson's? Micheal j Fox has been cognitively with it for 20 years. Are you claiming Biden can't "physically" perform the job of president?Parkinson’s expert who visited the WH is being subpoenaed to testify to Congress why he visited the White House a dozen times in last 12 months

Why not answer my query as to why you offer so much cover for trump? As someone who never voted for trump, do you believe they are EXACTLY EQUAL as viable candidates? That's nifty.

I take you as someone who, unlike couginspain, howdidthishappen, trumpcoug, observer and occasionally stretch, aren't afraid to explain why you believe what you believe. Let's go! Taihtsat
Trumps lying has been a lead story in the media for the last 10 years. Should we hook him up to a polygraph and start firing away? Im sure he’d be good with that.Since you're not the President of the United States, and your cognitive function has not been the lead story in the media for the last ten or so days, I'm not surprised that you'd rather spend time at work and with your family.
Uhhh. I’m here to tell you if that’s your response you know nothing about Parkinson’s. My dad has Parkinson’s. My parents have a number of friends with Parkinson’s through foundations they work with. I can tell you they are all different. They might label it Parkinson’s but it’s like labeling a kid with autism. There’s almost limitless variations of the disease. You might want to look up Parkinson’s.
That's #451 in the other thread where I simply asked (and you didn't respond uncharacteristically)...What post number is that?
Yes Gibby I'm confusing myself. Let's go through this yet again. The recent conversation is about Biden's CURRENT mental state and cognitive condition. I opine that what he should do (yeah it ain't gonna happen) is to say, yeah, I'll do it and release it if Trump does too. Same doctor(s), etc. A shrewd political move.Name calling aside, you're mixing several different things together, and may be confusing yourself in the process. Trump released the results of his physical from the last year he was in office. That's what I wrote above. Sorry you don't like that.

Now 90. Gibby, as a law clerk - oops attorney - knows everything about everything. As illustrated by his constant flippant one sentence responses, and dogged clutch on anything he says, not matter how much us mortals try to reason with him or show him that he is full of shit on whatever topic. Hey, I am wrong sometimes (very rare, because after all I am all-knowing), but when I am I admit it. He has never, and will never, bring himself to that. Because he is your typical f-ing lawyer. Never, ever wrong. Like my ex-wife.Uhhh. I’m here to tell you if that’s your response you know nothing about Parkinson’s. My dad has Parkinson’s.
