Nevada game. Derting took over. Hector is all over the ball on every play. He might be a Freshman All-American.

That's uh, not the way you want to finish a great first half. I LOVE this offense though. It's ahead of schedule, probably because JDL ran it in HS.
They need him to run a few more times in the second half. Wear these green d's down.
D is playing well. O just needs to turn the FGs into TDs, and a big part of that is on JDL. Need to adjust the throws just a bit...and there’s been a couple times where he really needs to run.
Oregon made too many mistakes in the first half.

JDL is really good and will probably get better as the season continues.
McIntosh is the real deal. (Max still needs to come back at some point for depth)
FG kicking is good
Hector (walkon) is a stud
Rolo has these guys playing a team concept on all three parts of the game.
In general, the Cougs are going to win some games if they continue to do what they are doing.
Unfortunate end to the 1st half but Oregon is good and you can't give them an inch or they will expose you. I suspect UO will come out storming in the 2nd and we'll see how the Cougs respond but this game was supposed to be a blow out and it ain't happening.
