This defense is so much better than last year.

Stickin' with it! I knew Bell and Harris were a good fit for this offense. They keep showing it. Now the D needs to make a play
We gave up the long TD pass, but I still loved the jail break blitz call. How many times to you see teams play soft coverage and get paper cut to death? Blitz hard, and if they score, get your offense back out there.
Think it was more concerning that he was getting atta-boys from players and coaches on the sideline. Just shows the culture hasnt changed and taking a kids head off is still a great play.
Fine with it. A couple of blown coverages but Oregon’s has to earn it and they wouldn’t want to play us again.
We let them score so we can get the ball and call our secret touch down play. Get the onside kick. Then call our other secret touchdown play.
Big game next week. Seeing how we bounce back against Stanford will be telling. The Cardinal are 0-2, and they’ll come out ready to play.
The defense is outmanned. It's not outmanned and embarrassing like last year, but it's outmanned. Ducks are the better team. I think this Coug team can beat anyone else in the league though. Can lose to them too, but I'm seeing more heart out of this team than last year. They believe again, and that matters. I think the staff and the team quit believing. Defensively they may have quit believing back in the spring.

Plus, nothing this season really counts. This is basically just extended practice setting up for next year.
Exactly. I'm treating this whole thing like an NFL preseason. Preview of coming attractions. Shore up the defense a bit and we might have something. It's great to have a running game again.
