Thanks for sharing. That was a magical year for sure. He went off in the Summer league as well. I was at game in Summer of 88 when he was playing for the semi pro team.....Ole was on deck, score was tied...he turned to Pete Blanksma who standing at the edge of the dugout and said "I am going to take the first good pitch he gives me out of here....I have a test to study for". And he did.

Spent some time hanging with Tom Mcgraw, good dude from Battleground. Pete and I played baseball together growing up, great guy as well.

We need to focus on recruiting locally and getting these type of players over to Pullman.
