Peyton Pelluer is money against the run. He made an excellent effort to stop that.
OSU has 306 yards. WSU will give up time consuming multiple play drives, then try not to break.

Wow, second half has been a bit of a letdown for Falk.
1st half: 6 TDs for 42 points (+FG), 0 INTs.
2nd half: 0 TDs for 0 points, 2 INTs.
Sorry, I just don't like to see us lose the killer instinct in the 2nd half. Not a good habit for a team and not fun watching for fans.

We just have to come out sharp and with the same energy.... it's something we have to get better at. it's a young team so now that it's not much of a challenge they have to learn to challenge themselves.
Agree with all except for the burpee drill.
Handle that shit on Sunday, not during the game. Besides, mabe if you make the game intersting for the kids playing it they wouldnt get so damn bored and have these lacks of concentration. Run-run-hold-run-pass.... zzzzzzzzzzz.

Refs need to dump this unsportsmanlike celebration nonsense. There is a level that is too far, but that is so ludicrous. It represents the emotional dimension of football on which the entire GAME - and therefore league, and staff, and referee, and player careers and salaries exist - and you're trying to get rid of it? Pathetic, and something that NOBODY is asking for.
Bender is getting really limited snaps obviously, but he is throwing some serious hospital balls there.
It really sucks for these kids that they are going to get the fck rolled out of them because they quit playing/executing in the second half. It should be a nice easy practice after a good win, but alas it is not to be

Overall the game was a big success, and on homecoming to boot.
First half was absolutely lights out - incredible. Better than we've seen in years.

Special teams an abject disaster. 100+ kick return TD given up. Onside kick given up. Some other crimes as well.

Mediocre....my a$$....that was really bad. Leach put it perfectly an they're going to need 2 halves in order to begin thinking about Arizona. Love the victory though.
Leach needs to give Bender more time to play. He may be a big part of the future.Leach for whatever reasons usually leaves the starter in most of the game even if it is a blowout win
I would have liked to see our backups sooner as well. Of course, the first real chance in the fourth quarter was at 10:50 with the ball inside our 10. I don't blame Leach for not putting Bender in that spot.
First off, nice win. Eye popping first half, etc. It appears to me that Cougs really need to have a fast tempo to be most effective. Second half, maybe they tried to take a little more time off the clock without abandoning the pass. Certainly seemed to lose their focus a bit, but can't overlook the end result...another conference win.

Didn't go for the fake punt, did recover two onside kicks, good coverage on all kicks except the KO return, got a KO return for 50+ yards (Martin). Not an abject disaster in my book....but would like to see it get better.

When we had 0 Dbs from the 2011 class and our Senior DB was Tracy Clark...what did you expect in the secondary? We had to get out of all the bad sub par classes before we had a Pac-12 team. We didn't have one, and now we do..a young one...but anyone that actually paid attention to where we were at and knew that wouldn't have been upset. They would have looked at the background and understood what was going on....but no....you didn't want to do that...you wanted to be negative and post negative junk on here and refused to accept the truth and evidence...and now faced with the reality you were wrong you throw your little fit "what an ahole for pointing it out"..."what an ahole for being right and telling me off when I was wrong being negative about the program".... You brought this on yourself.

It's been getting better since certain detractor people were kicked off, and it will continue to get better because they did nothing to support WSU as it rebuilds. I stuck by the program, and the Coach, and everyone can see the improvement from where we were...except those who refused to accept the reality of where we were, and those people like yourself will be known for their negativity and lack of support.
What you call "lack of support", I call "expecting improvement and establishing expectations". If we can gig Arizona next weekend and then take care of business against CU....or whatever it takes to get to 6-6, you'll find that I'm extremely supportive of Leach. I'm not some fool who expects 10 wins. I just hate seeing our program perform at a level that rates as among the worst in school history. We are almost guaranteed to see better than that this year. I'm happy about that.
It hasn't since Leach has been here. At no time ever has Leach lost less than 3 games. He has fewer 3 win seasons than Walden and Price, and he took over the worst 4 year stretch in our history. THAT was the worst in school history, but you adamantly denied it over and over and over. That's what everyone has a problem with you about...is that you came on here and were negative and acting like a fool and then saying Wulff wasn't that bad... And for that you ostracized yourself as a negative person, a detractor, and somene that wasn't realistic of the program.
