Robinson can't say he didn't get a lot of opportunities to turn things around.

Surprised at their roster leakage.

Watch out OSU administration! You may now suffer in terms of receiving federal grants.

unless they hire a proven, name coach it won't make any difference

The timing seems curious. Maybe the recent defection of a few players (and some complaints that CR was too much of a hard ass in practice) had something to do with it. They will return very little in the way of experienced players.

Of course maybe they just needed some time to round up the $4 million buy out.

Some familiar names already being mentioned by OSU people including Damon Stoudamire, Wayne Tinkle, Leon Rice, Ben Howland. A smart hire for them might be to bring back David Grace.

Recruiting possibilities =Cameron Oliver 4 star PF may be available. He just committed on 4/2 so he is probably upset over the sityation and how his recruiting was handled

According to Joe Davison of the Sacramento Bee, Oliver "is going to wait to see who the next Oregon State coach is," per usual. Davison notes that Oliver, who has yet to officially sign with the Beavers despite being committed since April 2, according to his Rivals profile, was also seriously considering Arizona State, San Diego State, New Mexico, and Long Beach.

Oliver also held an offer from Oregon and San Jose State. At 6-foot-8, 225-pounds, the Sacramento (Calif.) High prospect would fill an immediate need for the Cougars in the front court and would likely be an upgrade over the remaining JUCO forward targets left on the board.

Here's his Rivals profile: https://rivals.yahoo.com/oregonstate/basketball/recruiting/player-Cameron-Oliver-141844;_ylt=AqC6m6QYCc9bHSJP.xSyjwQ7tZB4

I'll try to get ahold of him or his coach soon.
